Three Years

It feels like I should do an anniversary post to feed my inner narcissist, but I'm not really sure what I should talk about. Making it to one year felt huge. It was the year I created something from nothing, so I focused on numbers. Two years showed sustainability, so I focused on process. Three years? I don't know what, if anything, it actually means.

Google says that traditionally, the third anniversary gift is leather. I like that. In modern times, it's crystal/glass. Meh, I'll stick with old school leather, thank you. However, I don't think that really helps me figure out what to write in a post to mark the occasion. So, in honor of three years, I'll just ramble a bit.

Aw, that's nice. Chris Cannon is offering up
his leather vest as an anniversary present.

The Cast: Who's Who (February 2018)

Guys,

All returning studs this month, although Sean had only appeared in the audience for Kwame's battle with Ryker, so you might not count that.

Review: Dash Decker vs. Tito Santos (88Wrestling)

Dash Decker vs. Tito Santos is the culmination of 88Wrestling's inaugural King of the Ring tournament. It features a former King against a brand new wrestler who made it past superstar Austin Cooper to make it here. I'm always down for anything Dash-related, so I decided to check this one out.

The King of the Ring concept carries over.

Review: Nick Sparx vs. Zacky & Matty (Wrestler4Hire)

In part three of my Q+A with Cameron, he told me that Nick Sparx had less than 30 minutes training before entering the Wrestler4Hire ring. It showed, but since then, he's wrestled quite a few pros and gotten a lot more experience. None of that experience is needed here as Nick faces two devious twins who just want a chance to take his hot ass down.

Nick Sparx gets stretched, pulled and put down.

Review: Kayden Keller vs. Richie Douglas (BGEast)

Now that I know who Richie Douglas is, I decided I'd try another match. The Calvin/Richie match is the only one I'm interested in from the latest catalogue, so it's actually a perfect chance to look backwards. Of all the options, the most appealing was his recent match against lanky heel Kayden Keller.

So far, I've enjoyed Keller's Spotlight. Both the one-sided assault Carter Alexander’s exquisite abs and the dominant performance against feisty jobber Kirk Donahue were winners in my book. Can this make for a rare trifecta?

Can Richie Douglas steal Kayden's Spotlight?

Review: Calvin Haynes vs. Richie Douglas (BGEast)

Who the hell is Richie Douglas?

That's what I thought when I saw the BESTIES winners for this year. It's like when some obscure artist wins at the Grammys, except I don't write a music blog. I write a wrestling blog. Shouldn't I know who this guy is? Anyway, turns out there's a Richie Douglas who has wrestled 8 matches at BGEast, starting a few years back in catalogue 104.2. Huh.

This veritable unknown (to me) won in two categories: Top Babyface and Best Submission with Kayden Keller. And more people voted for him in Best Body than Carter Alexander and Mitch Colby. That last bit is shocking in my opinion, but to each his own. Either way, Richie Douglas vs. Calvin Haynes became the perfect chance to check him out. I love me some Calvin, so I would've bought this anyway.

I can trust super-stud Calvin Haynes
to give me a good look at Richie Douglas.

CLAW 4: Kwame vs. Sean

The CLAW Ring, Arlington VA.

“You're Hawk, right?”

Hawk?

The sweaty pro wrestler stops practicing his ring moves. Damn. He looks good. 6’/200-lbs. Hard, muscular body pumped. Rich, smooth caramel skin shining. Long brown locks flying. All wrapped up in skimpy white trunks, pads and boots. Nice cock outline. I've only seen him on video. He's even better in person. His locks fall in front of his face as he checks me out.

Review: Nick Flex vs. Justin Powers (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Another match I had to buy then watch right away from Muscleboy Wrestling is Nick Flex vs. Justin Powers. I've heaped praise on both of these guys before and I enjoy them a ton. However, I never really expected to see them against one another. They have contrasting looks, styles and are both erotically dominant in their own way. So, how'd it go?

My two MBW faves get down on the mats.

Review: Chris Cannon vs. JT Atlas (Muscleboy Wrestling)

I have a ton of not-yet-watched Muscleboy Wrestling videos, but I still bought Chris Cannon vs. JT Atlas on the same day their sixth catalogue came out then watched it right away. Was that a good decision?

Old school heel Chris Cannon is back on the mats.

Review: Cason vs. Scrappy (Thunders Arena)

And we're back with the second match I watched with hot the new guy at Thunders Arena. Cason impressed me in his match against Blayne. Can he do it again against Scrappy?

Cason is mowing down the hottest hunks at Thunders.

Review: Cason vs. Blayne (Thunders Arena)

Blayne: One of my first matches back and I'm going to face a fucking loser. He doesn't even know what he's doing! Fuck!

One of the hallmarks of Thunders Arena is their uncanny ability to find the hottest new muscle guys. Their roster is always stunning. And just from the pics, Cason fits in right away. With early matches against Blayne, the retiring Marco, Scrappy and Steel, they're definitely giving him the best chance to succeed.

I bought Blayne and Scrappy right away and am reviewing both - Cason vs. Blayne today and Cason vs. Scrappy on Thursday. Let's see how the new stud does ...

Welcome to Thunders Arena, Cason.

Review: Duke Russo vs. Apollo (Movimus)

I'm impressed how Movimus has made each Duke Russo match feel different, even if the outcome is essentially the same. While pro action allows for guys to be unstoppable one match, helpless the next, and anything in-between, submission is more a meritocracy. It's unlikely Duke's just going to lie down and job for someone. If and when he loses, it'll be hard-fought and to a great opponent.

Duke Russo vs. Apollo is unique in its story and tone, featuring Duke as trainer. What's not different is that it still showcases sexy muscle studs rolling around the mat in a sweaty struggle.

Welcome to Movimus, Apollo.
Hope you survive the experience.

The Cave Undercard 20: Mr. Riddle vs. Super Soldier

The Cave Locker Room

“Ryan. Question. Is Luke a good wrestler?”

“Hey, Josh. Yeah, he's pretty good.”

Josh.

I head to my locker to grab my phone. I'm actually going to be running pro moves in the ring with Luke, who is one of the guys I'm seeing. Josh is just toweling off after his workout. He likes to use our little weight room for a change of scenery every once in a while. From the incredible pump of his chiseled physique, I'd say it worked today.
