Review: Scrappy vs. Adam Bryant (Thunders Arena)

Full disclosure: This match was provided to me by Thunders Arena.

Next up from Thunders Arena, I checked out Scrappy vs. Adam Bryant. I won't lie. Scrappy was the draw here and he really delivered. Again.

Sexy Scrappy faces rough and ready Adam Bryant

Scrappy has sculpted muscle and an amazing ass, looking great in his tiny yellow and purple briefs. He is handsome, young, fresh-faced, smooth and has no ink. The guy looks like the classic All-American boy next door. However, Scrappy is full of contrasts all by himself.

The young stud screams jobber, but fans know he's more than that now. His adorable smile can turn into nasty grin in a flash. As a heel, Scrappy works even better, because you don't necessarily expect it. In superhero terms, he looks 100% sidekick until his mouth stretches from ear-to-ear. Then he's 100% Joker.

Damn, even better when wet.

Baby got back.

This is the first time I've watched any action with Adam Bryant. At just 5'6", the pint-sized porn actor is a good match for Scrappy, as he's big, but not oversized. Physically, Adam has a beefy bad boy aesthetic. He fills out his green trunks nicely, but he isn't Scrappy, obviously. The tattooed hunk gives off a tough guy vibe, exuding confidence and bravado as he faces the young bodybuilder.

This match is very Thunders. From the guys to the action, it feels very comfortable as a longtime Thunders viewer. Everything starts with typical macho posturing then leads to a hard-fought battle for supremacy. Scrappy is really at home on the mats, so much so that he's becoming a must-buy for me. I love his enthusiasm and energy. And when he gets that sinister smile on his face, it's really intriguing, given how sweet he looks.

With both guys being shorter, you get the perspective that they're bigger than they are. They grapple hard and do a good job with the holds. You'll get a sense from the images, but it's what you'd expect. I don't think there's a stand out hold, but everything is solid. The two knockout finish is great, especially the winner's maniacal giggle of joy after the second one.

In the end, I liked this as a "Scrappy the Heel" showcase. It's pretty standard Thunders fare in terms of the wrestling and production, but sweaty Scrappy makes everything better these days. It's great to see him back and shining against a guy his size.

So that's my take. What's yours?

Alex
