Review: Krush vs. Cameron (Krushco)

I don't consider myself a voyeur. I'm probably too self-absorbed for that. I don't like hidden camera videos or reality TV. I don't want to know the intimate details of people's lives. If you want someone to ask you for details about your new baby, car or hair style, you will be disappointed. I remove myself from workplace drama and am the last to know any rumor.

Krush vs. Cameron is just about the most voyeuristic video I've watched in a long time and yet I ended up enjoying Krushco's latest. From the action to the guys to the videography, it feels like hidden camera footage from a random hotel room where two guys are hooking up. Like, if Krush wasn't selling it, you'd send him a note warning him that some jerk's released a private match video.

Teacher Krush teaches willing
student Cameron a lesson.

Review: Blayne vs. Frey/Viking (Thunders Arena)

Blayne: "You're gonna be lucky if I don't make you kiss by the end of the match. I'll show you real competition."

Don't get too excited. Blayne does not make Frey and Viking kiss. However, this quote sets the tone for this Thunders Arena fan fantasy beatdown that is more what I expected it to be. It has a clear direction and executes it brilliantly. If you think that you're interested in this video, I think you'll love it. Matches like this can be cheesy, but literally everything works perfectly in Blayne vs. Frey/Viking.

I was asked by a couple of folks to review this, but I'm not writing this out of obligation or for the purpose of fan service. No, it's my pleasure to talk about Blayne vs. Frey/Viking.

Everything's coming up Blayne as the best seller
brings the musclemen to their knees.

Review: Cason vs. Viking (Thunders Arena)

Cason vs. Viking is a Thunders Arena match I definitely wanted to see. Two of the hottest guys of the past year. Both big. Both strong. Both gorgeous. And both charming and fun as hell. It could go either way or any way and I'd be happy. Well, any way except maybe this way.

Wait, what?

Yes, I was disappointed in this video (it's not a match). It seems impossible with how perfect these two guys are, but somehow, the sum is less than the parts.

This is what I wanted to see.
This isn't what I did see.

Review: Ethan Axel Andrews vs. Nick Flex Part 1 (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was sent to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Ethan Axel Andrews vs. Nick Flex was, hands down, my most most anticipated video of the new Muscleboy Wrestling catalogue. I mentioned that in my Aspen vs Gabriel Cross review, but didn't explain why. Maybe it's obvious. It's the guys. This is a superstar match, as big as Nick Flex vs. Justin Powers. Maybe even bigger, since that was intra-organization, while this is inter-organization.

It's a rough and sweaty battle between
two of the toughest guys around.

One-Hit Wonders Part 1

At BGEast, there's an interesting (and I'll argue unique) phenomenon. The one-hit wonder (1HW). I'll stress the ‘wonder’ part. I'm not writing about a guy who appears in only one video, but a guy who makes an impact on you in only one video. Big difference. A true 1HW is a guy you remember and really like, but then he never re-appears.

Baby come back!
(That's Vasily Volkov, a recent 1HW.)

Rival Pro Wrestling 3: Slamsky vs. Steele (US Title Match)

RIVAL PRO WRESTLING. TV TAPING. 1982.

Narrator: El Presidente

Me. El Presidente. The Boss.

I own this place. People need to remember that. I fuckin' own it. I own that ring. That camera. That announcing table. Those chairs. That curtain. The title belts. I own every fucking thing in this building. Including the wrestlers. They work for me. I decide what happens to them. Who they face. How far they rise. I own this place. And I make the rules.

I'm El Presidente. The Boss. And nobody better forget it.

Review: Blayne vs. Hawk (Thunders Arena)

Introducing new wrestlers isn't easy for a lot of reasons. One of those is getting them noticed. That was the case with me and Thunders Arena rookie Hawk. This is a guy who is cute, hot and muscular. He's in great gear. The thing is, he's very Thunders looking. Which is a great thing to be in the real world, but in their world where everyone is a stunning muscleman, Hawk was kind of generic. Anywhere else, I would've noticed him faster. When I saw him on the Thunders website, I felt like I'd seen him before, because of just how Thunders he is.

However, I did notice him. Kind of. I actually noticed Blayne. The bigger, buffer, 2018 Blayne that faced Cason, but with body hair! Woof! After I noticed Blayne, I noticed the rookie and decided to give Blayne vs. Hawk a try.

Blayne gets to break in rookie Hawk.

Review: Aspen vs. Gabriel Cross (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was sent to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

MBW released its seventh catalogue this weekend. Coincidentally, there were seven videos I wanted out of the twelve offered. While I mulled what to buy first, MBW generously made one choice for me. They sent me Aspen vs. Gabriel Cross, which is actually one of the ones that I really, really wanted (behind only Nick Flex vs. Ethan Andrews).

MBW puts a new porn guy on the mats.

Review: Ty Alexander vs. Toney Rico (BGEast)

I've finished watching the Ty Alexander Wrestling Spotlight. We take a big leap forward in time. From the twinky jobber Ty to beefed up Trophy Boy Ty, the compilation features a great range from complete squash to a mostly squash to a truly competitive match. So they're all cool, but Ty Alexander vs. Toney Rico features my favorite Ty incarnation at BGEast.

Question is, can the match live up to my lofty expectations?

Reviews: Cason v Blayne/Justice (Thunders Arena)

I've obviously been a huge Cason fan. The 20-year old, sweaty beefcake has won my attention with dominating performances. However, I've been expecting the custom match folks to come along to force his comeuppance. And, as big and strong as he is, Thunders Arena is full of big, strong guys and few of the ones who last stay are undefeated. It was never a question of 'if'. It was a question of 'when'. Are these the matches where the inevitable happens?

This post contains spoilers. There's no way to talk about these videos without it, because I need to talk about what I like and don't like. Sometimes I can be vague, but in this case, the action is the thing. You've been warned.

Beefed up Blayne wants revenge.

Cason welcomes an even newer muscleman.

The Cave 21: Cody vs. Buck

The Cave Ring

Me. Cody.

“Thanks for the match, Cody. I'm relieved you accepted.”

“Well, I'm relieved that you asked, Buck. Jae's sad he couldn't join us, but he had a client.”

“It's cool. I'll meet up with your boyfriend eventually. I got a lot of time, being on vacation for four months.” The muscular farmer pauses, “You know, I wasn't sure you would accept after how things went down last week.”
