Review: Bruno the Beast vs. Alex Costa (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Bruno the Beast vs. Alex Costa from Muscleboy Wrestling might hold a record for me. I don't actually keep track of these things, but I can't remember a video that has taken me this long to get through. It's a forty-minute match, but it took me probably ten viewings to finish it. So is this a good record to have or a bad one? Trust me, it's a very, very good one.

The explanation for my inability to get through this in one viewing starts with the men. Bruno is a beast who knows how to get men to do what he wants. And once they're in his power, he knows what to do with them as well as anyone. The sexy, swarthy beefcake is bold and brutal, but also seductive and sweet. He might look angelic in white and gold, but he's so not.

Alex Costa is still a fairly new guy on the scene, but he's simply gorgeous. Hairy. Hard. Handsome. Alex is amazing in yellow MACHO trunks that are either ironic or perhaps a commentary on what MACHO really means. And even better than his looks (if that's possible) is his attitude. Alex's incredible coolness and willingness to be whatever his opponent needs him to be makes him a model of perfection for the underground wrestling scene.

Bruno's a beefy beast, worthy of his superstar status.

So MBW brilliantly takes this fresh, flexible muscle-god who's down for anything then hands him over to one of the best erotic wrestlers in the business. Wow. Magic. Alex isn't a complete jobber. He's been competitive, dominated and even won before. This, however, is pretty much a squash with no storyline other than Bruno's intense desire to have his way with the hairy hunk and Alex's total willingness to be had by the right man. And Bruno is the right man.

This dynamic is clear right from the start. We open on Alex honing his perfect body. Bruno checks him out as the MACHO man does pushups, caressing the broad back and tight butt. The beefy hunk sits in front of Alex and a chin grab leads to a kiss. It's pretty much over at this point. Alex does fight back a couple of times, but come on, that's just for show. Even a bearhug submission can't change the ending of their battle.

The trunks come off, but that's really the only change.

Action-wise, this is a series of short battles that culminate in another session of erotic domination. That's why it took me so long. Bruno takes over, plays with his toy in a hold, forces a pin or submission then moves on to the next move. But it got me going every single time and Alex seals the deal pretty much every single time. And so, each vignette is a mini-match of its own. Whether it's a camel, body punching, backbreaker or rack, each moment works perfectly.

In the end, this was pretty close to perfect for me. The guys are perfection. The chemistry is perfection. The action is intense and erotic, but always fun and entertaining.
