Review: Gunnar vs. Vinny (Thunders Arena)

Next up on this Thunders-fest is another Gunnar video. This time, it's Gunnar vs. Vinny. The rookie hits the ring to face off against another bigger muscleman. He's definitely starting out with the stiffest competition at Thunders Arena nowadays.

Thunders' new fireplug faces another bigger boy.

Gunnar's looking strong in this one. He shows off his body a ton. And he sweats beautifully, which I didn't notice against Cason. It gives his beef a fantastic sheen that only enhances his appeal. Vinny's looking big and amazing in a small blue poser. I always like him with some fur on his chest, so I'm definitely loving him here.

Vinny's looking great, as usual.

Yeah, that's a big MAN.

Gunnar's beefy and beautiful.

Once again, the tension stems from a simple source: primal machismo. Gunnar's posing off, showing his power. He expresses disdain for the "big dumb tree" in the corner. The tree - er, Vinny - is his usual confident and aggressive self. He manages to not go too overboard, containing his usual ... enthusiasm.

SPLAT! That's how you use your beef.

Looks like Vinny's showing Gunnar a good time.

Turnabout is fun play.

Action-wise, I liked how these big boys use big boy moves where you can see their power. Both guys unleash bearhugs. There are stiff body punches. Vinny lifts Gunnar over his shoulder. The rookie splashes down on top of him. The guys sell the abuse and it's definitely hot to see them suffer convincingly.

Gunnar loves to put the big MEN in the ropes.

Vinny smothers the rookie with his hairy legs.

I wonder if Vinny enjoys the view
as much as we do?

In the end, I enjoyed this battle between the blue collar brutes. Even though Vinny is bigger, they're both beefy and powerful enough to make this a good muscle contest. The action is solid, Gunnar shows a larger range of moves than he did against Cason and there was a feeling of tension between them without Vinny resorting to crazy talk.

So that's my take. What's yours? Just a note to Safari users, you might have trouble commenting and replying. I'm having to use Chrome to reply to comments.

  1. Gunnar's trunks were a real winner for me. The baby blue, floral(?) pattern contrasts really well with his beefy frame. Gunnar's bulge framing rope attacks are great, and i'm eager to see if he gets a taste of his own medicine at some point.

    1. Thanks for the comment. It would be great to see someone lock Gunnar in the ropes. He’d look great like that!
