Review: Ash DeLeon vs. Kenny Starr (BGEast)

There are a lot of wrestlers who go from place to place nowadays. It shouldn't be a surprise to see any wrestler in any promotion, but I admit that I actually was surprised to see Kenny Starr's smiling face on BGEast's catalogue 131 home page. Even with an extra 'r' on his last name, Ash DeLeon vs. Kenny Starr was immediately interesting to me.

Is Kenny happy he went to BGEast?

Kenny Starr is a familiar face from UCW. I reviewed four of his matches there, enjoying his carefree attitude and sexy body. He brings both of those to the BGEast ring in a perfect format for him - a gut bash match. The ripped stud is perfectly built for ab abuse. And he's a convincing and enthusiastic participant in his own demise.

Ash DeLeon is a cutie. He rocks his gold spandex and his jockstrap. Ash looks like he should be a babyface jobber, but he's got some bad boy in him. And he's got some skills, working well in the ring or on the mats. I haven't posted about him before, but I did think he was good with Ace Aarons and Steve Mason.

The jobber helps Kenny get his workout in.

Red and twisted, this must feel familiar.

The guys are friendly, but cocky. Ash lays out the rules - body boxing (no face shots). At this point, I'm nervous about how long I'll have to endure boxing, but luckily Kenny quickly decides that it's time for the gloves to come off. The guys grapple for a few seconds, but by six minutes, the gloves and shorts are off, revealing their wrestling attire.

Ash is really into Kenny and Kenny is up for whatever. After being at UCW, I'm sure Kenny can take whatever Ash dishes out. And sure enough, he can. Ash relentlessly pummels the ripped wrestling dummy's abs. The BGE rookie sells like a stud as his abs get redder and redder. Unlike most gut bash videos, Kenny does turn things around to keep it interesting.

It starts out with body boxing.

Fortunately, it doesn't take long to switch up.

Ash has a one-track mind - those perfect abs.

What I really remember about this match is the sound. A bare fist slamming into a tight washboard stomach doesn't sound anything like a boot hitting a ring, but usually that's what we hear. And I get it, but I appreciate that these guys go for it here. A lot of the shots have the real sound of a real impact. And the red marks left behind are the proof. Impressive.

Ash also does a great job with the claws and fists, making sure they truly do dig in deep. His fingers and knuckles sink in to Kenny's lean midsection, upping the authenticity. Kenny does a great job selling as Ash twists and grinds in the ab stretch and various other positions. Ash evens goes a little UCW with a rough cock grab and bulge squeeze.

A little pleasure then a little pain.

In the end, it's great to see Kenny back in action. Ash is a completely underrated stud with a couple of good matches under his belt now. If you're into gut bashing, this is a good one for the quality of the wrestlers, the action and the chemistry.
