Reviews: Chase Squashed! (Underground Wrestler)

As I've been exploring Underground Wrestler, I've noticed a trend when it comes to uber-sexy stud Chase. Someone likes seeing him get knocked out. A lot. I don't know if it's multiple custom video commissioners with the same idea or one passionate guy, but Marco's making serious bank off the bearded blond hunk's narcolepsy.

I obviously get the appeal. Chase reminds me of a hockey player or college quarterback with his scruffy look over a tall-ish and chiseled body. I decided to summarize the three videos I've seen with Chase getting squashed and knocked out, to share the differences and maybe help you decide which one you'd like most.

Somebody really likes Chase getting knocked out.

Chase vs. Joey King - Pro vs. Joe

Wakey, wakey.

This is my favorite of the three. The reason is pretty simple. It has the most variety. Chase shows up for a pro wrestling lesson. Makes sense. Joey King's a trained pro. Surely he can teach the young wannabe a few things. Simple premise, but it enables Joey to use a variety of hot moves between knockouts to really show off the sleepy stud.

Hello, Chase.

Nap time, rookie.

I enjoyed how Joey names the holds, acting like a really teacher. He's unimpressed by Chase's choice to wear underwear in the ring. I get that. It's PRO wrestling, man, not PORN wrestling. Although I'd take Chase in anything. And he's really unimpressed by the rookie's ignorance of basic holds and moves (dude, you seriously can't name a neckbreaker?). And so, there's suplexes, a pile driver, body work, etc., in between the requisite forced nap time.

This is also the longest of the three videos by a couple of minutes, clocking in at around 2 minutes of setup and 20 minutes of action.

This is called a neckbreaker. Neck. Breaker.

This is called a piledriver. Pile. Driver.

Chase vs. Marco - Sexy Sleepers

Marco has his way with Chase.

Note: Chase and Marco face off multiple times, but this is the only one I've seen. It's called "Sexy Sleepers", so if you're shopping double check the title and gear.

The boss steps in to take a turn at dominating the chiseled blond dude. The gear shines in this one, literally. Marco's in metallic red, while Chase rocks shiny gold (more on that coming up in a future post). The commissioner must like strip action, because this one has Chase starting in a t-shirt (which feels like a crime), while the next one vs. Kasee has both guys in singlets that get stripped off.

Marco cops a feel for all of us
who'll never get the chance.

Chase gets knocked out a different way.

Action-wise, this one falls in between the other two. It's still knockout-centric, but Marco applies more moves than Kasee and fewer than Joey. Those extra moves include a rack, piledriver and different kinds of scissors. Marco casually talks throughout, letting us all know just how easy it is to crush the bigger man. Chase looks incredible in gold, so from a body-watching perspective, this one is incredible.

Chase isn't so big that he can't be racked.

And of course, there are sleepers, too.

Chase vs. Kasee - Rip and Strip

Singlet or poser, Chase gets more rest.

This is the most single-minded of the videos. It's not really a match as there are basically two moves repeated over and over. The outline could have been as clear as, "I want to see Chase get a low blow then knocked out. Over and over again." And that's basically what happens.

As I mentioned above, the guys start out in singlets. It takes one minute for Chase to put Kasee out. He peels off the loser's singlet while he sleeps while flexing over him. Kasee wakes up pissed and from then on, it's the young muscle punk in charge with the low blow/knockout cycle running through five times. There's posing over the sleepy puppies throughout and I do like the extreme closeup of Kasee's bulge hovering over Chase's face. That's a nice touch.

Chase goes down to low blows over and over.

Nothing Chase can do against the muscle boy.

What I liked most about this one is the contrast between the studs. I built in my own subtext of masculine Chase being outsmarted and manhandled by cocky young punk Kasee. With his height advantage, maturity, facial and body hair, I mentally added a layer of humiliation to his defeat (man losing to boy) that made it hotter for me personally. The mental leap's made easier by Chase's initial domination, so we know he's technically the better man, but that doesn't keep him awake.

The camerawork does a great job
of showing off Chase's body.

The muscle boy crushes the man.

So that's my quick take on these three videos. What's yours?

Alex

  1. I’m glad Chase has branched out. It always seems to me that 88 was kind of holding him back - not letting his personality shine through. Just coasting on his good looks. Plus, the allure of him in new, more revealing gear, is always a plus!

    1. Thanks for the comment! I agree with you. Chase is a rising star now. Although those are some mighty good looks to coast on, though, especially in his new sexy gear.

  2. Thanks for such a thorough and informative review. I love the sleeper plot too. I would love to see more vids like this but starring more of an old school babyfacek--tall white boots, pro trunks over underwear, and possibly fewer visible abs in favor of country thickness. But your reviews are the best, thank you!

    1. Thanks, appreciate that. I’m trying to think if I’ve seen a match with those criteria. Wrestler4Hire is probably the most likely place, but I can’t picture it.

    2. Meo, you might be interested in W4H's Austin Cooper vs. Jaxton Wheeler (Sleepers). And about Underground Wrestling, to be honest I couldn't tell the difference between it and Thunder's Arena Wrestling.

    3. Thanks for the tip, Anonymous. I figured it sounded W4H, but did t have a specific example. Awesome.

To me, the only differences between Thunders and UW so far are that every UW match is a custom, so they’re more focused and almost all squashy, whereas Thunders has a little more variety. It’s mostly the same talent and settings.
