Mindsweeper Monday: TCCW 34

TCCW are wrestling stories from two different Yahoo! groups from the early 2000's. These entries were part of a much larger universe led by other writers. There are references to characters, events and matches that will not be posted here. Titles change hands, friendships and alliances form and dissolve, all without you ever seeing it. Imagine you are watching an Indy fed sporadically.

Note: You can find ALL (?) the stories by all authors in order in their original versions HERE - thanks for the link, Mangler!

Chaz -Middleweight Champion (LW) versus Martin - Challenger (MW)

It had been two weeks since Martin had won the middleweight four-corner match against Daryl, Joey and Noel. He had shown his heart and determination, impressing even his detractors with his awesome victory. All four wrestlers knew that it meant an almost guaranteed shot against Frank, the middleweight champ.

Almost immediately after, Chaz, Frank's younger lightweight brother, had won the belt by beating his brother in a hard-fought match. Chaz had callously engineered Frank's downfall by manipulating him into wrestling a hard match just prior to their own match. By the time their match began, Frank was in no shape to wrestle and Chaz took full advantage.

No sooner had Chaz put on the title belt, a belt that was much too large for him, than Kevin, Martin's friend, had challenged Chaz to face Martin for the title. Chaz, euphoric from his victory, had accepted, knowing he could not refuse the obvious number one contender.

Chaz was a tough kid, pound for pound one of the toughest in TCCW. Even though he often took the easy way out, no one would question his bravery. He had faced a healthy Frank in the debut match of TCCW, something that certainly took guts.

But Chaz, as tough as he was, had butterflies when he realized afterwards whom he would be facing. He knew that he should have given Frank the first rematch. At least then he might lose but he would not be injured. Chaz knew Martin was cruel and tough. And Chaz would not have the advantage of outside interference pre-match to soften Martin up.

Or would he? Could he do it again?

TWO WEEKS LATER

The arena was buzzing. It was Chaz' first defense against the incredible Martin. The young Martin was cruel, but talented. The crowd was torn. Those that loved the underdog were pulling for young Chaz. Those that wanted the most deserving wrestler to win were pulling for Martin.

THIS NEXT MATCH IS A MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE BOUT. IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE SUBMISSION WITH NO TIME LIMIT! PINFALLS WILL NOT COUNT!

INTRODUCING FIRST, THE CHAMPION, PROUDLY SPORTING THE MIDDLEWEIGHT BELT – IN FACT, THE FIRST LIGHTWEIGHT TO EVER WIN THE MIDDLEWEIGHT BELT – WEIGHING IN AT 127 POUNDS, WEARING THE WHITE TRUNKS, HERE IS CHAZ!

In an unusual move, Chaz had asked to be introduced first. He wanted to be in the ring when Martin emerged. He had to know if he had been successful.

Chaz was a young man compared to the young men that normally fought. He had not developed yet and looked his age. Frank had given him a pair of white trunks that Frank had worn when he was younger, thinking they were good luck. Frank had switched to red trunks for his rise back to the top.

Chaz had wanted to wear his old trunks when he saw Frank's loss and pathetic actions after his loss to Luke. Frank had actually licked another man's boots in front of everyone. Chaz wondered how Frank could ever face anyone in TCCW again.

AND INTRODUCING THE CHALLENGER, WEIGHING IN AT 170 POUNDS, WEARING THE BLACK TRUNKS, HERE IS MARTIN!

Martin came out, wearing a t-shirt and trunks. The audience was confused as they looked at Martin coming down the aisle without his usual gusto. He was clearly not well. In the ring, Chaz smiled. He thought, "Ryan came through. Another win for me."

As Martin hobbled down the aisle, Chaz's thoughts drifted back to the previous week ...

... Ryan, Lucien, Trace and Kale were working out. Well, actually Lucien was watching as the other three hit the weights. Ryan stepped away to get some water. Once Ryan was away from his cohorts, Chaz approached him.

"Hey Ryan, how's it going?"

Ryan looked down at Chaz as though looking at an insect. Ryan gulped down some water and set his water bottle down. "Everything's cool with me. How's your brother feeling? And how's it being the champ in the house?"

Chaz shrugged, "Frank's fine. As for being the champ, I'm just trying to enjoy it while I can. I've got a match with Martin coming up. You know, he's pretty tough."

Ryan shrugged, "Maybe for a middleweight. Don't really follow you little guys that much."

Chaz smirked, "He's part of Kevin's Posse. Kevin wants two belts in his stable. His group is really tough. And another belt will just make them even more powerful."

Ryan's eyes narrowed. It was no secret that Kevin and he had a rivalry to be the number one heel faction in TCCW. Ryan nodded, "So, Chaz, you asking me to do something?"

It was Chaz's turn to shrug. He said, "Ryan, everyone knows that you do what you want and your buddies do what you tell them. I wouldn't ask you to do anything. I'm just getting some water. And I thought I'd let you in on Kevin's little plan to get himself a bigger role in TCCW. No stopping that guy, eh?"

Ryan nodded at Chaz, "See you around, Chaz. Nice talking to you. Good luck in your match."

Chaz smiled. He knew Ryan was volatile but he doubted Ryan could resist this carrot. Ryan would have to soften Martin up. He would HAVE to or lose presence to Kevin.

All week Frank had been on Chaz to prepare. Frank wanted Chaz to do nothing but train. Chaz had blown him off, knowing that he could take Martin. Frank was confused by his cockiness but Chaz didn't care. Chaz spent the week at the beach, having fun ...

... Now, seeing Martin walk slowly to the ring, Chaz was satisfied that his plan had worked. He was right not to bother training. Suckers like Frank spent their time preparing. Chaz hoped Kevin had gotten in the way and was sprawled in the back.

Martin and Chaz were cleared by the referee. The two wrestlers met in the middle of the ring, staring each other down in a classic face-off. Martin walked right up to Chaz until there was only an inch separating their torsos. Martin sneered, looking down on the smaller wrestler.

Chaz looked up at Martin. He did not back down. Despite everything, Chaz was not a coward. He had used others to get the advantage over Frank and now over Martin, but he would have faced a healthy Martin just as strongly.

Chaz broke the stare-down by driving his knee up into Martin's crotch! Martin grunted at the unexpected low blow. When Martin fell forward, Chaz grabbed Martin around the neck.

Chaz pushed Martin into the corner with ease. He knew Martin must be really hurting. Chaz felt nothing from the top middleweight. Chaz pushed Martin into the corner. He drove his thigh up into Martin's abs. Martin sank into the corner with the blow.

Martin sagged slightly on the turnbuckle. Chaz was shocked that Ryan and his buddies had done such a good job. Chaz was ecstatic. He was going to squash the number one middleweight!

Chaz backed off. He made a fist and kissed it. The crowd laughed. Chaz wound up and DROVE IT HARD! Chaz put his entire body into the punch, sending his small hand into Martin's rippled abs! There was an audible thud followed by a cry of pain.

The cry of pain came not from Martin but from Chaz! Chaz staggered back, pain shooting up his thin arm. Chaz stumbled and turned to see Martin standing tall. Chaz grasped his aching hand in his other. He was shocked.

Martin smiled cruelly. He had seen the blow coming and flexed his abs hard before it arrived. Martin grabbed the neck of his t-shirt and tore it open. Martin said, "Surprise, boy. Two lessons you should take from this. First, tough guys don't like to be used. And two, you can never trust a heel. I'm not without friends of my own, boy."

Chaz's eyes went wide. Not only had Ryan not helped him, he must have actually told Martin about his request. Chaz looked at his aching hand. Chaz assumed Martin's t-shirt was to hide a battered torso. He couldn't have been more wrong!

Martin tossed the torn t-shirt into the crowd and struck a double bicep pose that reminded everyone why this stud had won the four-corner match. His hard lean muscles throbbed with power. Every muscle in his body stuck out, clearly outlined as he flexed.

Before Chaz could even move, Martin struck. The tight, hardbodied, muscle stud was often described as moving like a snake. His "snake strike" was fast and deadly. Martin thrust his right hand out and plunged it deep into Chaz's abs. Martin's hand sunk deep into Chaz's soft stomach.

Chaz doubled over as Martin rubbed his rippling abs. He struck again, hammering Chaz with another series of hard shots. In the span of a minute, Martin had delivered six hard and measured blows. Martin's hands plunged in deep, the force of his thrusts greater than anything Chaz had yet felt in his career!

Everyone in TCCW knew about Martin's "snake strike" and several middleweights were working on counters. But Chaz had not prepared properly. Chaz just gasped for air and the confused crowd knew that they were about to witness a squash. Just not the squash they had anticipated moments ago!

Martin charged forward and pushed Chaz into the corner. Martin pushed hard and squashed the young champ between himself and the turnbuckle. Chaz moaned as Martin stepped back then charged forward again.

Martin squashed Chaz several times. Chaz was sagging. Martin drove his knee up into Chaz and watched as Chaz collapsed forward. Martin did a tour of the ring, bouncing his pecs for the girls in the crowd. Martin's body was hard and tight. He flexed his biceps and smirked.

Chaz saw Martin's wide-open back. He charged and raked his fingernails down Martin's back! Martin arched his back, feeling the pain. Chaz drove two fists into Martin's kidney. He hurt his hands again but there was no quit in young Chaz. He wished he had prepared for this match. Chaz knew that he had made a huge mistake but he was in the ring now and he would give it his all.

Martin walked forward, holding one hand on the top rope and the other on his back. He couldn't believe Chaz had raked him. The dirty little punk was going to pay!

With Martin distracted, Chaz hopped up onto the top rope in one fluid move. He leapt off and grabbed Martin around the neck. He drove Martin's head into the canvas, planting him with a hard bulldog!

Martin writhed on the mat as Chaz rolled him over. Chaz went for the cover. After about five seconds, he looked at the ref. "Submission, only." The ref smirked. This was the second match of the evening that was submission only. In the other one a wrestler had forgotten. The ref thought about how terrible the school system was that these wrestlers were so dense.

For his part, Chaz cursed that rule. He jumped off Martin and started stomping on Martin's abs as hard as he could. Martin bounced off the mat as Chaz laid the boots to him. Chaz stood back, measured Martin up and dropped a big elbow onto the muscle stud! Chaz laid across Martin's stomach and dug his elbow into the awesome 8-pack.

Martin snapped up immediately and smothered the stunned Chaz. Martin rolled on top of Chaz and grabbed his ears. He slammed the back of Chaz's head into the mat, dazing the champ. Martin wasted no time. He grabbed a handful of Chaz' hair and dragged him to his feet.

Martin locked his arm around Chaz' neck. He grabbed the side of Chaz' white trunks and lifted. Through the daze, Chaz knew it was a suplex. He extended his foot and blocked the move! But Martin would not be denied. He released the white trunks and hammered two huge fists into Chaz' abs! Chaz' legs went weak as he felt his guts being pummeled. Martin was the only thing holding the young man up.

Martin locked his hand around the white trunks again and this time, Chaz went up. Martin held the champ aloft, letting everyone know that a 127-pound wrestler was nothing but a ragdoll for him.

Martin held Chaz aloft for a while, then dropped forward. Chaz' entire front was slammed into the mat hard! Chaz has softened the blow with his hands and knees but still he was hurting.

Martin picked Chaz up and threw Chaz into the corner. Martin was mad. And the last thing anyone needed was an angry Martin. The whole Ryan thing was funny to Martin, since he figured himself, Rusty, Lance, Taylor, Jed, Luke, Tyson, Brett and Vinny were more than a match for the four heavyweight heels. So even if Ryan HAD gone through with Chaz' plan, it wouldn't have mattered.

But the low blow and rake were over the top. Martin was going to squash Chaz like no champ had ever been squashed before!

Martin hammered fists, forearms and knees into Chaz until he was practically unconscious. Chaz swung his arms out, trying to keep Martin at bay. Martin easily deflected and dodged most of the punches. The ones that did connect had so little behind them that they couldn't faze the middleweight muscle stud! The abuse was fast-paced as the snake struck with unflinching fury. Chaz was moaning as he hung limply on the ropes. Martin was having his way with the young champ.

The torture of Chaz went on for five minutes in the corner. When the champ was nothing but mush, Martin pulled Chaz forward and put the champ's head between his legs. Chaz dropped to his knees, unable to stay up. It didn't matter to Martin. He could throw Chaz' 127-pound body around all day. The muscle stud reached around Chaz' waist and power bombed Chaz into the mat!

Chaz bounced a couple of times as his battered body convulsed from the impact. Martin showed no mercy as he slapped Chaz across the face. He reached forward and dragged Chaz up. He body slammed the champ back to the mat, only to pick him up and do it twice more!

Now this was a beating! Chaz was done! He was completely helpless. Martin was ruthless as a foe. He didn't merely want to win the belt, he wanted to prove a point. He wanted to teach the younger wrestler a lesson. Martin had strict instructions from Kevin to punish Chaz hard if Chaz tried anything. Kevin knew that reputation and intimidation was big in every one-on-one sport, especially wrestling. Martin had to send a message to the back.

Martin reached down and lifted Chaz into a bearhug. He crushed Chaz' limp, young body, cruelly torturing him. Whenever Chaz sagged too much or looked close to submission, Martin lightened his grip, letting Chaz catch his breath! No one could prove he was doing it but most suspected it.

After torturing Chaz for minutes, Martin released Chaz, letting him fall to the mat. He pushed the smaller wrestler onto his back. Martin placed a foot on Chaz's chest and did a flex for the crowd. A no-pins match was perfect for Martin. It allowed him to completely dominate and not worry about pulling Chaz's shoulders up.

Martin dragged Chaz around, positioning him carefully. Martin had a plan and he would carry it out. He bent over and slapped Chaz across the face making sure the "Champ" was awake for this, the end of the match.

Martin had done nothing but pummel and abuse Chaz for fifteen minutes. Martin lifted Chaz' legs. He stomped the back of the champ's quads hard. Martin wanted Chaz to feel this everywhere through his body. When the legs were soft, Martin dropped Chaz legs, towering over the champ as he writhed on the mat under him.

Martin kicked Chaz's feet apart and moved between Chaz's legs. Martin leapt up and came down, his shins slamming onto Chaz's upper thighs. Martin drove his fists down on the way, driving them into Chaz's small pecs. Martin's crotch plunged into Chaz's soft stomach.

Martin sat across his conquest and arrogantly flexed his arms. He had positioned Chaz perfectly

Martin sat on Chaz's waist. He put one hand on Chaz's face and leaned forward. His feet rested over Chaz's thin thighs. Martin had positioned Chaz perfectly. In the crowd, Martin was facing Frank who was watching his brother's destruction with dismay.

Martin looked at Frank in the crowd and rolled his tongue out, letting it hang down. He flexed his free arm and made sure Frank got a good look at real power. Frank looked at the arrogant middleweight. He wanted to help his brother so badly but knew Martin was not doing anything against the rules.

Martin smirked and pulled himself forward, slithering like the snake he was over Chaz's battered body. Martin moved in behind Chaz, propping the defeated lightweight's head between his legs. Martin wrapped his legs tightly, securing Chaz in a figure-four headlock. Frank could not see his brother any longer. All he could see from his vantage point was Martin's rippled V-shaped back.

Martin's back still showed signs of Chaz's rake. Frank thought that was probably the reason for this cruel beating, not knowing of Chaz's failed attempt to recruit help from the four biggest guys in the league, the Heavyweight Heels.

Frank thought Chaz should have played fair. He shook his head, remembering how hard he tried to get Chaz to train for this. Chaz had been his own worst enemy. Frank especially thought Chaz should now just let Martin end it all. But Frank knew Chaz was tough and a fighter. Losing easily probably never entered his mind. Frank felt some pride in his brother after fifteen minutes of punishment. At least he didn't quit.

Chaz hadn't quit yet but Martin wasn't done. Martin sat up, his legs wrapped tightly, squeezing the consciousness from the middleweight champ. Chaz flailed his arms but he had no chance of breaking free. Martin thrust his hand into the air. He made a claw motion and brought his hand down. Martin twisted his hand and placed it on Chaz's young face. Martin cruelly closed his hand, locking his grip in place.

Within seconds, Chaz was thrashing helplessly as Martin's cruel grip crushed his face and head! Whether it was the claw or the scissors, Chaz himself didn't even know, but he had to get free. Martin's claw had garnered Noel's submission, his hands were like a vice.

Chaz screamed his submission, his weak voice cracking, crying out several octaves higher than usual. Martin released the claw and unwrapped his legs. TCCW had a new champ in the middleweight ranks. Martin held his fists high and defiantly ignored the crowd. He was the champ! The Posse waited in the back, ready to celebrate as Martin had brought home another honor.

*****

The Heavyweight Heels did not even watch the match nor know its outcome. It had nothing to do with Ryan's double defeat at the hands of Anton. Ryan had already gotten over that and was ready to make up for it in his next matches. Setbacks only made him train harder.

No, the reason they didn't watch the match was the same reason Ryan had not helped Chaz.

Ryan and the Heavyweight Heels could not have cared less about the middleweight title. Let Kevin have it and the lightweight one. Middleweights and lightweights were just guys who couldn't make it in the big leagues. Ryan believed that TCCW should be completely open. But until it was, he would only care about the heavyweight belt and the tag team belt!

Martin saw Frank approach ringside. Martin wasn't worried about Frank attacking him; after hearing about how Frank had been humiliated by Luke earlier in the evening, Martin wasn't afraid of Frank at all.

Martin shrugged off the ref and said, "Wait a minute." Martin grabbed Chaz by the hair and hoisted the defeated lightweight across his chest. Martin strolled to the ropes. He leaned over the top rope and smiled at Frank.

Frank eyed him and said, "Don't do anything stupid, Martin. The match is over. Remember, he's MY brother." Frank tensed his muscles under his t-shirt, reminding Martin that he was no lightweight. Not that Martin cared. He was done with Chaz.

"Clean-up, aisle four!" Martin tossed Chaz forward, sending him out of the ring. Frank had to move but he managed to catch Chaz in his arms. Martin turned his back on Frank and Chaz, leaving Frank to carry his defeated brother to the back.

In the ring, Martin accepted the middleweight title belt, letting the ref put it on him. He left it hanging open, letting the crowd glimpse the deep cavern that ran between his solid pecs and incredible abs. Martin took his last bows and went to the back where he knew Kevin would be celebrating his title.

*****

The next day, Martin vowed to the Posse that he would be a fighting champ, unlike Frank. Martin knew that there were many tough middleweights in TCCW, all deserving of shots at his belt. At 19, Martin planned to hold onto the belt until he was out of college or a heavyweight, whichever came first.

Kevin wanted him to take it easy and treat the title as he, Kevin, did. Kevin told Martin to defend as little as possible and only against bottom tier guys.

But Martin had a mind of his own. He made a list of the top guys, Zack being at the top of that list. The little punk had won the Battle Royal. Martin would face Zack, for sure. Jerred had lost in the finals to Frank and never gotten another shot. Martin welcomed a challenge from little Jerred. Daryl, Joey and Noel would all get a chance. Timon was a tough guy with a good record. So was Elton. Luke was coming on strong. Even Frank had a 4-2 record and as a former champ probably deserved a shot.

Martin looked at the list; he smiled. All he had to do was decide whom to beat on first.

THE END
