Review: Chet Chastain vs. Ty Alexander (Wrestler4Hire)

My next two reviews are related, featuring two Chet Chastain cage matches from Wrestler4Hire. Both are squashes and both should be popular with fans of squashes. I'm posting about them in order, so first up is Chet Chastain vs. Ty Alexander.

It's all coming up Chet in this one.

These guys are two of my more popular subjects. This is Ty in his jobber phase. Not super-early boy-Ty but before he transformed into the more competitive Trophy Boy he is now. Still, he's got attitude and confidence, ready for anything. Chet's time in our world seems like it was shorter, so he's the same smooth lean muscled hunk we all know and love. With him being extra-cocky here, he's oozing sex with his just-right-amount-of-wrong bad boy persona.

Ty's one moment lets us enjoy Chet's deliciousness.

Chet returns the favor, stretching out the jobber.

The pro just loves to flaunt his body.

Things start out pretty chill. Chet's stretching, getting warmed up. He says that he's 16-0 in cage matches. When he asks Ty if he's ever even been in a cage before, Ty claims he has, trying to add some bravado of his own. The pro stud asks his record, but Ty demurs. Chet won't let it go until Ty says it's 1-1 in a way that doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Chet doesn't believe it either. When pressed on who he beat, Ty can't come up with a name, silently confirming his lack of experience and victories.

Chet takes advantage with a surprise kick and this squash is on. Ty gets his one offensive move early, but it's countered quickly. From there on, the 16-0 stud destroys the jobber, adding in humiliation wherever he can. Ty's made to sing that he's Chet bitch. He's forced to scream louder. He's made to kneel before Chet and fix his knee pads. And so on.

Chet's face tells the story as he manhandles Ty.

Yeah, Chet, you're a cage wrestling god!

Anyone else want to test the
(soon-to-be) 17-0 cage king?

Action-wise, things are really good if you like squashes. Both guys know a lot of moves. Chet is a great cocky heel. Ty's an awesome jobber. They work well together as the match progresses. Chet toys with Ty who acts as the plaything from beginning to end. Chet savors his domination, his arrogance at an all-time high. And Ty screams, moans and sells the pain perfectly. These two are a great match.

There are a combination of pro moves, submission holds and dirty/cheating action. Chet low blows Ty multiple times. Ty's dropped onto the top rope and bounced on his balls. As you can see, the cage comes into play. The whole time, Chet's mugging for the camera, looking adorably pompous. He mimics crowd noise, knowing there'd be cheers for him if there was one. Not that he cares, since he declares he hates the fans. Pure heel.

Chet doesn't like Ty's singing.

Chet's such a cocky fucker.

Chet easily moves closer to his stated goal of 21-0.

In the end, if you like this kind of squash, I think you'll really like this one. Both guys do a great job, the action is good and the suffering stellar. Chet's arrogance is sky high, only adding to his sex appeal. He's obviously king of the cage, completely unbeatable. I mean, it would take some kind of massive deMented monster to beat him and what are the odds of that?

So that's my take. What's yours?

Alex

  1. I always enjoyed Chet. Even though he tended to overreact to everything and some can find it hammy or campy, I liked it. I think he knew who his target audience was and was playing to them.
It seems like he is no longer on the scene, as he hasn’t had a video released in a long time. I hope that if he does come back, it’s with a little more muscle and hairier too, not just facial hair but some chest hair too (a guy can dream).
Nothing better than seeing the evolution of a wrestler. Besides the heel/jobber dynamic, in underground wrestling , there really isn’t any way for character development. Perhaps a “break” is necessary instead of having someone in new videos every other week; the return and the wrestler seems fresher by contrast.

    1. Oof, I love that dream. An older muscly Chet with chest hair sounds awesome. I enjoy seeing transformations. I track BGEast guys that way since they release them out of order (“oh, this must have been done at this point”). Ty’s a good example of a guy you can track over time. Frey, Blayne and Scrappy at Thunders both have transformational stories too (like hair and muscles).
