Review: Austin Cooper vs. Jaxton Wheeler (Socks) (W4H)

Wrestler4Hire catalogue description: "Is there anything hotter than sweaty knee-high socks stretched up over muscular thighs?"

Yeah, there are a lot of things hotter than tall socks, including most of this video. Actually, that's unfair. I know there are some major sock fetishists out there. I've even wrestled a couple of them in my time, borrowing tall socks to fit their particular interest. Yes- gasp - I actually don't own any tall socks. Not the point, though. If you are into socks, I see you and appreciate you.

Anyway, I was a little worried this match would be all about the socks, but other than Austin's compulsion to pull them up, I didn't really notice. Whether you're into socks or not, Austin Cooper vs. Jaxton Wheeler is a well-done match.

Two beefy bros battle it out.

Austin and Jaxton are a perfect pair to put together. Nice job, Cameron. They're both handsome, solid wrestlers who are similarly built - thick and muscular - but one is a smooth beefcake and the other is a hairy hunk. I think they're both chill and charming, too. Cameron did write (here) that his #1 criteria for evaluating success is whether he likes having guys at shoots or not. Since they've done so many matches, they must be cool guys.

Just keep mauling him, you beast.

Yeah, look at that chest. Damn.

Woof. What power!

They've both been heels and faces, dominators and jobbers. They always excel at whatever role they're in. Since they're so versatile, I wasn't sure how things would go. I am going to spoil how it goes, though, because the pictures only go one way. This is a 100% squash. And as you can see, it's all Jaxton on top. I don't mind the hairy brute showing his macho side. And Austin is great in either role. He sells everything like a stud (and pulls up his socks frequently).

Nicely done, Jaxton.

The hairy hunk is a real animal.

Austin pulls up his socks,
Jaxton give us a pose.

Action-wise, this is jam-packed. Jaxton unleashes a full arsenal of brutal holds and power moves as he tortures the smooth superstar. The hairy muscle beast camels and crabs, bearhugs and backbreaks his opponent. He might be auditioning for the role of Bane at Hero Hunks, because he dishes out multiple over-the-knee backbreakers. KRAKT! It's a relentless 20-minute assault on Austin.

The beast bounces his boy.

Unlacing boots is a bitch for Jaxton,
but his muscles make it a joy for me.

Yeah, no question who the man is in this one.

In the end, I enjoyed seeing Austin destroyed by the hairy hunk. Jaxton has really gotten a ton of moves down pat, showing an impressive array of holds and moves. Coop is his usual uber-professional, convincingly playing the victim whose biggest concern is his socks falling down. Speaking of socks, they're there but they don't distract from the wrestling at all. If you're into them, awesome and if you're not, don't worry about it.

So that's my take. What's yours?

Alex

  1. I enjoyed this match. Austin looked hot suffering in that gear. Personally, I think it would been better if Jaxton was the one pulling up Austin's socks. On my blog, I have a regular feature called "Studs in Socks". It gets a good amount of views.

    1. Austin’s just plain hot doing anything. He’s just so versatile.

Very cool on the socks feature. I definitely know that there are guys who are into socks, so I’m sure fans appreciate your posts. I don’t mind them, I’m just not really into them.

    3. Hey Alex, I get that your response was directed at socks and not my blog in general. Thank you for your ongoing support of my blog.

  2. The socks were cool. And sort of a metaphor for each wrestler. Austin is really fun to watch get beaten in his gear - his socks were unstable and weak. I like the socks on Jaxton more. They were tight, reliable and steady. Matched by his skills, he owned Austin. The better sock won.

    1. Great perspective on the socks. Way deeper than mine.
