Mindsweeper Monday: TCCW 24

TCCW are wrestling stories from two different Yahoo! groups from the early 2000's. These entries were part of a much larger universe led by other writers. There are references to characters, events and matches that will not be posted here. Titles change hands, friendships and alliances form and dissolve, all without you ever seeing it. Imagine you are watching an Indy fed sporadically.

Note: You can find ALL (?) the stories by all authors in order in their original versions HERE - thanks for the link, Mangler!

Jessie/Jack versus Alan/Greg

Jessie and Jack arrived at the training facility, ready to work out. They had trained together for years and liked each other's company. As brothers went, they got along really well.

Jessie was 19, the older of the two by a year. He was 5'9" tall. He had a runner's build, trim and sleek with defined muscles. He weighed a solid 170 pounds with no body fat. Jack, on the other hand, was a little taller, at 6', even though he was younger. Since they were so close in size and age, the brothers were competitive in the ring and had been for a while.

Jessie and Jack were a dismal 0-3 as a tag team. They were depressed but kept on plugging. They had been close to victory in their first match, but lost. The brothers rationalized that as unlucky and the fact that they were new. HB and Kane had defeated them, but they were one of the top two teams, so that wasn't a big surprise. Their last lost, against Alex and Troy, was the most devastating. They had looked sloppy, disorganized and weak. Worse still, Jack had been the second competitor in the Battle Royal. He had lasted mere seconds.

Jessie thought they had actually gotten worse as a team. He had decided not to challenge anyone until he felt they were better. It was too embarrassing for them to continue to lose in the ring. Jessie feared that Jack's self-esteem might never recover if they kept losing.

After their workout, Alan approached Jessie in the shower. He made small talk then asked Jessie how things were going with him and Jack. Alan also wrestled with family, his cousin, Greg. They were slightly older, at 20 and 21 respectively. Both Alan and Greg were muscular beach bums. They looked almost like twins, with identical hard, ripped bodies, short brown hair with identical blond highlights and winning smiles. They were extremely popular on campus, part of the "party" clique.

Alan told Jessie they were looking for challenges. Alan and Greg had an unimpressive 0-1 record. They had parted ways with Kevin but were still stained with the stench of their nasty past.

Alan casually asked Jessie for a match. Jessie was about to decline when Jack entered the showers and accepted. Alan smiled and thanked them. Down the shower room, Ross, a friend of Alan's said, "Hey, you guys are accepting challenges? How about facing me and Keegan the card after that match?"

Again, Jack agreed. Jessie appreciated his brother's enthusiasm but wished he had not accepted either. To make matters worse, when Jack entered the locker room after showering, he told Jessie that they also had a match with Keith and Rich three cards from now.

Jessie sat open-mouthed. They had three matches in three cards. It seemed impossible. All of a sudden, they were the most popular tag team in TCCW. Jessie shrugged and said, "Great."

Secretly, though, he feared for his brother. If they lost all three matches, Jack would be devastated. Jessie decided he had to do something to help them. Jessie got dressed and waited outside for his younger brother.

Jessie and Jack had been starting a friendship with Jeff and Sean, but they had been away for most of the summer. Jessie took the time to dial a friend from college, the only other guy he really knew in TCCW.

"Hi, it's Jessie, from Chem class and TCCW?" he said. "Can I drop by in a little bit? I have a problem and I'm hoping you can help." In response, he said, "Thanks. See you in an hour."

Jessie hung up, knowing that he had to convince Patrick to help him. With Patrick's help, maybe he and Jack could right their sinking ship.

Jessie asked Patrick for help. Patrick felt badly for Jessie. He immediately promised Jessie he would help him. Patrick lobbied Elton, Corwin and Drew to add Jessie and Jack to their practices.

All three declined. Corwin was in the same class as Patrick and Jessie. He didn't like Jessie. Corwin explained that Jessie was a snob on campus. He never talked to Corwin and Corwin wanted no part of working with him now. Drew and Elton simply thought another two trainees were too many. Damon and Marcus were already asking to train with them.

But Patrick refused to take "no" for an answer. He argued that it made it better since four teams split up better than three teams. Patrick had tremendous personal capital in the group. Although he was the meekest and nicest of the four, he was also the most capable of manipulating others. His innocent nature and cute looks made him hard to say no to.

In the end, he won out. Jessie and Jack joined them. With only three days before Alan and Greg, there was not much they could do about that match, but with two matches following, Patrick hoped they could do something.

*****

THIS NEXT CONTEST IS A TAG TEAM MATCH! INTRODUCING FIRST, WEIGHING IN AT A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 364 POUNDS, WEARING THE BLUE TRUNKS, HERE ARE GREG AND HIS YOUNGER COUSIN ALAN!

Greg and Alan blasted from the back, eager and excited to get it on. The cousins wanted to get more matches under their belt and let other wrestlers know they weren't Kevin's wrestlers any longer.

The cousins knew they possessed the physical ability to be the number one team in TCCW. Both wrestlers were big and muscular - 186 and 178 pounds respectively. Their tanned bodies were ripped and hard. The dudes spent most of their time at the beach working out. They wrestled together every day, training and working out hard. What they lacked was in-ring experience.

Greg and Alan were both popular with the crowd. Their bodies, their smiles and the small blue speedos that they wore as trunks excited the ladies. The guys in the crowd liked them because they were tough customers, confident, yet not arrogant. No one had seen them in a while so their past with Kevin was water under the bridge.

The beach bums waited for their opponents, confident that they would be leaving the ring as winners.

AND THEIR OPPONENTS ARE WRESTLING BROTHERS, WEIGHING IN AT 330 POUNDS, HERE ARE JESSIE AND JACK!

Jessie wore black square cut trunks and Jack wore small gray bikini trunks. The brothers were cute, with short curly hair, dirty blond in color. They looked their age, with still developing bodies. Jessie was defined but not buff and Jack was still a young man. He was soft compared to older kids who had had time to chisel their bodies.

As they entered the ring area, they received only polite applause for showing up. Jessie had not invited his parents or friends, not wanting to be embarrassed if they lost again.

In addition to their losses, Jack had been humiliated in the Battle Royal, eliminated in only a few seconds. In the locker room, any victim of a quick squash was now known to have "pulled a Jack." Jessie wished his name had been called. He knew he could have at least put up a fight.

Jessie realized that his protective instincts might be a problem. Jack's eagerness to accept three successive challenges indicated to Jessie that Jack was not realistic about their ability. Jack was enthusiastic at practice but Jessie knew that a few days with Corwin and Drew would not do much. They were the same team they had been a few days ago. Jessie hoped that would be enough against two strong muscle studs.Jessie started the match for his team. He and Jack went over the last minute details. Alan chose to start for his team. He and Greg had to use rock-paper-scissors to decide since both guys wanted to start the match. Both of them wanted to be the one to set-up the domination and the control.

At the sound of the bell, Jessie and Alan moved in together. Now that he was squaring off with Alan, the butterflies returned for Jessie. He was definitely nervous. He raised his hands tentatively and stepped forward. Alan raised his hands and moved in. He was ready to use his superior strength and slam Jessie into the corner!

As the guys went to lock-up, Jessie ducked under Alan's grasp and moved in behind him. He wrapped his right arm around Alan's waist and placed his left hand on Alan's lower back. Jessie pushed forward, forcing the older guy into the ropes, front first. As they came off, Jessie lowered his left hand and slid it between Alan's taut legs, using their momentum to carry them back.

Jessie fell back, pulling Alan down and rolling him up for a quick pin. Alan was shocked! The ref got a two-count before Alan kicked out. Within the blink of an eye, both guys were up. As they moved together again, Jessie dropped Alan with a drop toehold. Alan slammed down, face first. Jessie slid up his body, locking on an arm bar. Jessie tightened the arm bar, sending waves of pain up Alan's ripped shoulder. With his free hand, Alan slapped the mat in frustration. He lay on his stomach, forced to eat mat as Jessie cinched in the tight arm bar.

Jessie turned the arm bar into a hammerlock, forcing Alan's weakening arm up his back. Jessie adjusted his position and dropped a hard knee into Alan's rock-hard bicep. Alan again was left to slap the mat, this time in a combination of frustration and pain. Jessie went back to lying beside Alan, pushing up on the hammerlock, softening Alan up as much as he could.

After a few seconds, Jessie sat up and dropped another two knees into the powerless Alan's bicep. He repositioned to an armbar and dragged Alan to his feet, all the while twisting the young party stud's arm more and more. He pushed Alan into the ropes. He whipped Alan off the ropes, sending the wrestler running across the ring.

Jessie measured Alan as he came off the ropes and got ready for a clothesline ...

When Alan came off the ropes, Jessie attempted a clothesline, but Alan grabbed his arm. Alan attempted a hip toss but Jessie blocked it. Jessie then attempted a hip toss of his own. He thrust forward, trying to toss Alan but he could not budge him. The wrestlers stood in the center of the ring, locked arm in arm until Alan moved sideways and drove forward, leveling Jessie to the mat with his free arm.

The huge standing clothesline sent Jessie down hard, his head smacking down onto the canvas. Jessie held his head in pain as Alan dragged him to his feet. Alan had no intentions of being embarrassed by these young jobbers. Alan dragged Jessie up by the hair. He reached between Jessie's trim legs and lifted. Jessie felt himself leaving the mat but could not stop the move. Quickly, Alan had Jessie firmly in his grasp. He SLAMMED Jessie down hard, the power of his bodyslam showing off the might contained within his muscualr frame. Jessie arched up, thrusting his hips into the air.

Alan ran to a neutral corner. He leapt onto the top turnbuckle and dove off, aiming a flying head butt at Jessie. Jessie managed to roll out of the way. Alan connected with nothing but hard canvas. Jessie shook out the cobwebs and leapt to the top turnbuckle in the opposite neutral corner.

Alan rose to his feet, dazed as he shook out the cobwebs from his face plant on the canvas. He looked up, only to see Jessie boots flying at his heaving pecs. Jessie landed the drop kick from the top turnbuckle, sending Alan to the mat hard.

Jessie attempted the cover but only got a one-count. Jessie locked on an armbar and pulled Alan to his corner. Jessie tagged Jack into the ring. Using the armbar, Jessie raised Alan up to full standing. Jack entered in and planted a boot to Alan's abs. Jessie released the armbar as the ref reached five in his count. Jack moved forward to dish out more punishment to Alan.

Alan had moved back to the center of the ring after the kick. Unknown to Jack, the abs were the wrong place to attack Alan ad Greg. Their abs were like eight bricks laid by a master craftsman. The muscles were big and tough, the ridges between deep and clear from the back of the arena.

Alan turned to Greg and grinned, letting his cousin know not to worry. He was unharmed by the brothers' quick assault. The cousins had expected to dominate from the start but Jessie and Jack had put together a nice combination of moves. Alan and Greg, though, knew it wouldn't last.

As Jack moved forward, Alan drove his own fist forward, driving it deep into Jack's much softer midsection. Jack grunted and bent over. As he did, Alan grabbed him and raised him in the air. Alan carried Jack's lanky, 160-pound body back to his waiting cousin, slamming Jack down in front of Greg. Alan tagged his cousin in.

Greg entered the match for the first time. Jack was crawling to his feet. Greg pulled him up. He and Jack locked up. Jack surprised Greg with an arm drag takedown. Greg landed on his back but managed to roll to his feet. Jack charged the now-standing Greg.

Greg saw Jack running and flexed his torso, the muscles rippling. Greg thrust out his shoulder and leveled Jack to the mat with a hard shoulder block. The youngest and smallest wrestler in the match was sent sprawling back.

Greg dragged Jack to his feet. He whipped Jack into the corner. Jack managed to surprise Greg by reversing the whip and young Jack sent Greg crashing hard into the corner. Without wasting any time, Jack ran into the corner. He leapt onto Greg's thighs and grabbed behind his head. Jack leaned back, trying for a monkey flip!

Greg locked his powerful arms around the ropes and Jack lost his grip, unable to budge the powerhouse. Jack flew back, crashing onto the mat onto the back of his head. Jack scrambled to his feet, only to be leveled by a hard clothesline. Greg grabbed Jack's wrist and dragged him to his feet. Greg measured Jack and leveled him again with another hard clothesline. Greg attempted a cover but only got a two-count on young Jack. Greg sauntered to the ropes, hopping onto the top turnbuckle. Jack was back on his feet, dazed and looking for the tag.

Before Jack could move, Greg leapt off, slamming his forearm onto Jack's head! Jack went straight down. Greg forced him back up only to clothesline Jack down again. Jack felt like a yo-yo as he was raised and then dropped time and again.

Greg flexed for the admiring crowd. They were definitely the crowd favorites, the cute young jobbers not inspiring much support. Greg dragged Jack up and whipped him into the ropes. Greg leveled Jack with a powerful fist to the gut.

Greg forced Jack up and placed Jack's head between his legs. Greg lifted the young jobber up and delivered a power bomb! Jack was planted onto the mat! Greg again flexed for his admirers. He smiled at the writhing Jack, arms spread wide, eyes closed as he moaned in pain. Instead of covering the dazed wrestler, Greg lifted him again. He again whipped Jack into the ropes, ready to continue the punishment.

Greg bent down, trying for a back body drop, but Jack hurdled over his bent form. When Jack had hit the ropes, he had managed a quiet tag with a reaching Jessie. The ref signaled tag but Greg missed it. Greg turned to face Jack, turning away from the entering Jessie. Jack came off the ropes. Because he had made the tag, Jack was getting ready to exit the ring. He forgot Greg would be waiting for him when he came off the ropes.

Greg drove forward and leveled the unsuspecting Jack with a massive clothesline that sent him flying. Jack did a full 360 before landing hard onto the mat. He rolled out of the ring. Jessie, who had been charging in from behind saw his brother destroyed and lost his train of thought. He yelled, "Jack!" Jessie's eyes followed Jack's trip out of the ring.

Greg turned and saw the distracted Jessie. Greg drove forward and planted Jessie with an even bigger clothesline, nearly taking Jessie's head off! With Jack on the floor and Jessie flat on his back, the crowd was on their feet cheering their beach guys.

Greg stared down at Jessie writhing on the mat. Greg grabbed Jessie's ankles and dragged him across the ring. Greg lifted Jessie up and held him aloft in a sidewalk slam. Greg cried out, "Oh yeah, baby!" and dropped Jessie hard onto the canvas!

Greg dragged Jessie to his feet and he pushed Jessie hard into the corner. Alan raised his hands, letting the ref see he wasn't doing anything illegal as Jessie slumped in the corner in front of him. Greg charged in, landing five huge chops to Jessie's chest. Jessie sagged further, falling to one knee.

Greg dragged Jessie to his feet and pushed him back into the corner hard! He did this twice more. Jessie stumbled forward one step then crashed down face first onto the canvas! Jessie tried to crawl to his corner. Greg let him make it all the way across the ring. Jessie was so out of it that he didn't realize the Jack wasn't even there. Jack was still sprawled on the floor of the arena! Jessie looked for the tag only to be forced up by a powerful full nelson. Greg lifted Jessie up effortlessly and carried him back to "enemy camp."

Greg held Jessie helpless in the full nelson. He held Jessie in front of Alan who slammed fists through the ropes into Jessie's wide-open abs. The cousins felt immensely powerful right now, with Jack down and out and Jessie at their mercy. Greg released the full nelson at the ref's instruction. He pushed Jessie back into the corner hard. In desperation, Jessie launched forward, driving a knee into Greg's abs. Greg was unfazed, his abs more than capable of withstanding anything Jessie could dish out.

Greg delivered a hard chop and Jessie was sent spinning. Jessie dropped to his knees and hung over the middle turnbuckle! Jessie crawled along the ropes, trying to escape the cousins' corner. Greg smiled and again flexed his big muscles for the crowd. Jessie was trying to pull himself along the ropes but he was going nowhere. Greg was relentless.

Greg tagged in Alan. The guys saw Jack back in the corner. They each grabbed a chunk of Jessie's hair and pulled him up. Together, they pulled Jessie to the middle of the ring. Jessie hung limply, walking between the cousins who owned him at the moment. Jack reached for a tag, knowing it was pointless.

Alan and Greg released Jessie's hair. They turned quickly and drove in with matching clotheslines! The double clotheslines were made all the more devastating as they followed through to the mat, landing as much of their 364 pound on top of Jessie as possible!

Greg jogged out of the ring, leaving the destroyed Jessie to his cousin. Alan nonchalantly covered Jessie. As the ref counted, Jack came roaring in a kicked Alan in the head, breaking the count. Alan looked at Jack who was being removed by the ref. He said, "You mad at your brother? You want him to suffer more?"

A frustrated Jack replied, "My big brother will come back! He'll show you!"

Greg had come in after Jack had, ready to keep the numbers even. He said from behind Alan, "Dude, he's your brother but he isn't big! This is big!" Alan and Greg struck matching double bicep poses, showing off their incredible physiques. Even Jack had to be impressed. The older wrestlers were much more like men than he and Jessie. Jack felt guilty for the first time. He had accepted this match and Jack knew his own carelessness had distracted Jessie and set him up for this beating. When Jack was out of the ring, Greg left, too. He did not even bother to double-team the helpless Jessie.

Alan returned to Jessie who was lying just where he had been before this started.

Alan forced the helpless Jessie to his feet. He whipped Jessie back into the corner in front of Greg. Alan tagged Greg in. The guys grabbed Jessie around the neck. They each grabbed the side of his trunks from waistband to leg opening, bunching it up and cinching their grip. They lifted, raising Jessie into the air. They turned, with Jessie straight up in the air. Jack winced as he was again forced to see his brother's face in pain. The blood was rushing to Jessie's head, making his face red to match his chest from the earlier chops.

At the four-count, the cousins dropped back, suplexing Jessie down like a sack of potatoes! Jessie writhed back and forth. Greg made a cover. As the ref reached two, Greg flinched, thinking Jack was coming in again. He moved enough that Jessie could raise his shoulder. Jack had not moved from his corner, just wanting this torment of his big brother to end!

Greg slapped the mat in frustration at his carelessness. He smiled inwardly, knowing that he had let Jessie kick out deliberately but his act was more than convincing enough for the crowd. He picked Jessie up and bodyslammed him to the mat. Greg looked down at the smaller, younger dude. He knew that Jessie was done. There was no way he was coming back. He debated whether to continue to destroy Jessie or just end the match.

Greg looked at Alan who knew his cousin well enough to know what he had done. Alan shook his head. This was a match. They needed a win. Alan wanted Greg to take the pin if he could get it. Stranger things had happened. Alan was also fearful of getting a bad reputation again.

Greg acknowledged his cousin's signal with a slight nod. He measured Jessie and delivered a leg drop across his red chest. Greg rolled off his and stood over the fallen wrestler. He measured him again and delivered another leg drop. Greg tagged in Alan and the cousins leapt to opposite neutral corners. Both hopped onto the top turnbuckle. With Jessie lying unmoving in the center of the ring, Alan and Greg stood atop the turnbuckles and did a flex for the crowd. They had gotten what they wanted - a dominating win!

Greg leapt off and splashed onto Jessie hard! He rolled off him and knelt on one knee. He did another flex for the crowd as Alan leapt off the other turnbuckle!

Alan leapt up and spread his arms and legs wide, he arched his back as though going for a belly flop. Alan crashed down onto Jessie with a devastating splash! Alan turned and straddled Jessie's waist. He put his large hands onto Jessie's shoulders and the ref started counting.

Greg waited in the corner but inside the ropes in case Jack got any ideas about saving his brother again. Jack didn't even move. He wanted this over as much as anyone.

With Alan on top of Jessie, the ref counted to three quickly. Alan and Greg accepted the ovation from the crowd. The jobber brothers had proven true to form and lost again convincingly.

Alan and Greg hugged and then came over to Jack, "He going to be okay?"

Jack turned and said, "Yeah, he'll be fine. Thanks for the match."

Jack thought he heard a laugh in Alan's voice as Alan replied, "You bet. Anytime you want a rematch, we're up for it."

THE END
