The Cast: Who's Who (Oct 2018)
Guys,
New and familiar guys this month. As I said in the preview, I really liked this month's stories. That probably sounds arrogant, since I wrote them, but I don't say that every month. I plan for a lot more from our new Cave guys but Steve has one more match at BIGBeast, too.

Review: Austin Tyler vs. Joey McCoy (Muscleboy Wrestling)
Full disclosure: This match was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.
Austin Tyler is definitely one of the rock stars of 2018. He's my go-to guy at UCW and his match against Nick Flex is one of MBW's best of the year. So when Austin Tyler vs. Joey McCoy was included in the ones sent to me at the launch of catalogue 10, I knew it would be one of the first ones I'd watch.

Review: Kelly King vs. Toney Rico (BGEast)
When I reviewed Braden Charron vs. Tatum Riggs (review here), a reader recommended Kelly King vs. Toney Rico as the best from BGEast catalogue 130. Honestly, I probably would’ve let the match go by, but it was a forceful recommendation, the video features two wrestlers I’ve liked in the past, and there wasn’t much else in my queue. And so I decided to check it out.
This Big Boy Battle has big boys, but 'battle' might be a little strong. |

Review: Alex Costa vs. Quin Quire (Muscleboy Wrestling)
Full disclosure: This match was sent to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.
He was talking about Alex Costa vs. Quin Quire. This match is one that I would’ve bought and watched no matter what, but with this kind of ringing endorsement and a link provided by MBW, I decided to jump on it fast. Well, reasonably fast, because like my helpful buddy, I didn’t make it all the way through this one in one shot.
A friend e-mailed me this:
Whatever your plans are for today for TV or other things ... scratch them. You have to watch this match and then make a review of it ASAP. I’m not exaggerating. Drop everything and watch it. I’m going little by little. I’m still on minute 19 and it’s over 48!

Review: Chase Addams vs. Bruno LaBestia (BGEast)
Back to BGEast catalogue 130. As I wrote before, this was the most interesting matchup to me. It brings two talented, creative and flirty wrestlers together. It’s heel vs. heel. And I’ve liked both a lot before. So I waited patiently for it to appear on VOD and it finally did. Yay! Now that I’ve watched Chase Addams vs. Bruno LaBestia, what did I think?
The guys enjoy some play time. |

Review: Black Wrestling Network
I originally learned about Black Wrestling Network from Joe at Ringside. He posted about them multiple times from 2010 to 2013 (link to his tagged posts). I was intrigued but never acted on my interest. At that time, they were only streaming and DVDs while I was 100% downloads. And I found their website confusing and intimidating, much like I do with Can-Am and Spotland Scrappers. If I don’t post much about a known group, their website user experience could be the main culprit.
I finally decided to dive into BWN. |

Review: Buck Carter vs. Toney Rico (BGEast)
Context matters so much. In all aspects of life, this is true, but now I’m forced to acknowledge how much it matters in terms of wrestling videos. A friend sent me an image from BGEast to identify. Turns out it’s a guy named Buck Carter from the upcoming Big n Beefy 7 which will be on catalogue 131. I thought the guy was hot and wanted to check him out. It also turns out I’ve seen him before and didn’t check him out when he was Wildcard at Thunders Arena. Huh.

BIGBeast: The New Guy 6
Steve's Wake-Up Call
"Time to get up, sleeping beauty." Jimmy taps Steve's face, but he just moans then rolls over onto his stomach in the ring. My boss shakes his head then unleashes a huge slap on Steve's gorgeous ass. SMACK! The bulbous butt cheek quivers and Steve wakes with a start. I can see a red handprint on the lower half where the jobber's white trunks ride up.
Me (Camera-boy) and Jimmy Wildfire enjoy a moment in the BIGBeast ring. |

Review: Vinny vs. Kasee/Cap vs. Gunnar (Thunders Arena)
I don’t think I’ve ever done five posts in a row that are all reviews from the same company before. But these Thunders Arena matches are the main videos I’ve watched recently, so what can I do?
I have one video left to talk about from rookies Kasee and Gunnar. I decided to combine them. Why? I finally realized that in the matches I bought, these guys faced the same wrestlers in the same locations (Cason and Vinny in the ring, Cap in the garage). I might’ve structured the reviews differently, but hindsight’s twenty-twenty. Oh well. Either way, there's still some kind of symmetry between the two newbies even if they're very different.

Review: Gunnar vs. Vinny (Thunders Arena)
Next up on this Thunders-fest is another Gunnar video. This time, it's Gunnar vs. Vinny. The rookie hits the ring to face off against another bigger muscleman. He's definitely starting out with the stiffest competition at Thunders Arena nowadays.

Review: Cason vs. Gunnar (Thunders Arena)
Thunders Arena always seems to upload matches in bursts. If you blink, you can miss them because they're on to the next hot thing so fast. We're in that situation now. Gunnar's matches may be old news on the site, but I'm just getting to them, starting with Cason vs. Gunnar. And by the time I'm done, guys like Rhino or Jack Beaver or Kid Thing could have come and gone and we'll be on to the next hot thing. It's a vicious cycle, right?
Will I get to Rhino, KT or Jack before they're gone? First, I have more Gunnar and Kasee to watch. |

Review: Cap vs. Kasee (Thunders Arena)
I've bought a lot of Thunders Arena matches recently. Kasee and Gunnar both grabbed my attention, so expect there to be a lot of Thunders coverage this month. I've only watched three of them but so far so good. Next up, Cap vs. Kasee pairs up Cason's two recruits on the garage mats. They were both great against the big fella but how are they when they're left to play by themselves?

Review: Cason vs. Kasee (Thunders Arena)
I've worked at a few companies who have incentivized people for recruiting. If you bring someone in and they work out, you get some cash. My fictional Cave promotion has this same policy and so, it seems, does Thunders Arena. We already know Cason recruited Cap. Now he's bringing in another friend - Kasee (who really should've been called Casee to keep the "Ca" thing going).
After watching Kasee in action, I can say that in addition to being ridiculously hot, Cason is also pretty smart because so far, he's two-for-two in the hot stud department. There's a good chance that Kasee vs. Cap is the rookie's first match but Cason vs. Kasee is the first one I watched so that's the one I'm talking about first.
