“Shut the fuck up, bitch! We’re back to this little game, are we? Been a few months. I thought I broke you of this bad habit. We both know that I decide when it’s over, not you. Do you remember what happened the last time you tried to quit me? And the two times before that? Are you missing the feeling of groveling to me to take you back? Missing the punishment you earned?”

“Fuck, Cody. That’s him. It’s really him.”

I laugh at my boyfriend Jae’s awe as we take a seat on the far end of our roof deck watching our surprise houseguest sun himself just 40 feet away. When I reached out with a vague request asking if an old acquaintance of mine could stay with us for a week, Jae was cool with it. Now that he sees the thickly muscular and chiseled Korean American pro wrestler lying on our roof deck in his speedo, he’s more than okay.

It seems like just yesterday that I was at eight years, three stories into a return to posting original stories on a regular basis. “Chris! Hey, buddy.”

“Cody? What are you doing here? Are you looking for me?”

“No, one of my clients will be working out here. He’s going to try things on his own, so I’m doing my usual walkthrough. Making sure he knows how to get results at his own gym when I’m not around.”

Chris nods, impressed. The 27-year old, 6'1", 225-lbs, white construction worker says, “That’s a cool service. Most trainers would want their ex-clients to fail so they come running back. No wonder you’re doing so well.”

It was awesome and sales are hot. He extends his hand as he introduces himself to the curious lean stud.
