Review: Tristan Baldwin vs. Caleb Klein (Wrestler4Hire)

Before I get into this review, I have to admit something. I’m mainly posting this for the pics, so if you skip some of the words, that’s okay. I love Tristan Baldwin and I love seeing him dominated by a big, hunky pro wrestler. This Wrestler4Hire video is beautiful to look at because the all-time great underground wrestler is beautiful to look at as he’s manhandled from beginning to end.

It's all about sexy muscle getting squashed.

Review: Tristan Baldwin vs. Kasee (Thunders Arena)

Tristan: Wow. You weren't kidding when you said you were going to one-up me. I said wear something eye-catching. You wear eye-catching in half the size.
Kasee: Half the size?
Tristan: No, I'm talking about [your trunks]. The rest of you? Probably double the size.
Kasee: Thanks, bud. I've never even met you before. Who are you?
And with that opening, Kasee immediately breaks two cardinal rules of improv. He doesn't listen to his scene partner, which is why he doesn't realize Tristan is talking about his tiny red poser. And worse, he doesn't say "yes and ..." and instead actually rejects Tristan's premise that he told him what to wear pre-match. Tsk tsk. Lucky for Kasee he's pretty and who can stay mad at him in that 'gear'.

Tristan vs. Kasee starts out poorly, but if you stick with it, it becomes more worth it.

Things get better as the video goes along.

Review: Scrappy vs. Tristan (Thunders Arena)

Tristan: "See these trunks? I took these from some young zipperhead with a smart mouth, a pretty face and not much else. Just like you."

Scrappy: "Was that in the 70's?"

This is officially my first Thunders Arena match of 2019. So far, I've been watching ones that I purchased last year and they sent me seven freebies last month, one of which I reviewed. Scrappy vs Tristan, however, was bought from the website in 2019. I haven't really been feeling them so far, plus Underground Wrestler was posting a lot of the same guys on their Patreon. All it took to bring me back was one look at this superstar pairing.

Scrappy: "Fuck. They're going to give me
fucking grandpa to wrestle."

Review: Aryx Quinn vs. Mitch Colby

Closing out my December reviews, let's check out Mitch Colby vs. Aryx Quinn, another BGEast favorite that pairs two hot hunks. Interestingly, this match has largely been ignored. I'll often ask, "What are other bloggers saying about this match?" Nothing really. Joe used an image for a post on scissors. It came up in Bard's interview with Aryx (more on that below), but otherwise, I couldn't find any coverage of it. Maybe it's not that good for anyone else?

Well, let me explain why I like it and you can decide for yourself.

Two mega-stars collide in this inter-generational battle.

Review: Aryx Quinn vs. Danny Gage (BGEast)

There are obviously a lot of older matches that I could review. I've been watching gay wrestling videos for almost 20 years. My choice today is somewhat random in a broad sense. I was scrolling through my hard drive and Aryx Quinn vs. Danny Gage from BGEast just kind of popped. Why? I picked it because there's a very specific plot point that makes it special to me.

Love me some OG Aryx.

Review: Tristan Baldwin vs. Ty Alexander (W4H)

Tristan: "Usually I leave 'em sweating, crying and cumming. You're doing neither for me right now, which tells me it's gonna have to get a little fucking rougher."

Let's celebrate the heel-jobber today with two of the best ... Tristan Baldwin and Ty Alexander. As we look at their match from Wrestler4Hire, in theory it's great when two of my favorite wrestlers get it on. However, this is a "My Nuts, Bro" video, which doesn't really excite me. And yet, the matchup is a particularly interesting combination and was simply too much to pass up streaming. These aren't two guys who I think of together, so it just intrigued me to see where it'd go.

Tristan: "You wanna play that game?
I'll make a man outta you."

Review: Marco vs Tristan Baldwin (Thunders Arena)

I've been a sucker for Aryx Quinn/Tristan Baldwin ever since he showed up. The stud had a flawless smooth tanned body with gorgeous pecs, broad shoulders, an impossible trim waistline, and fantastic ass. More than that, I loved his attitude. The military muscleman had a ton of it, starting as a heel then deftly transitioning into heel-jobber territory.

So when I saw Tristan vs. Marco over at Thunders Arena, I figured it was worth checking out.

Review: Chet Chastain vs. Tristan Baldwin (Wrestler4Hire)

I was going to talk about Wrestler4Hire's Garrett Thomas vs. Joey Angel, but Bard beat me to it (reviewed here). He covered it all and highlighted the same things I would have. Since I hadn't pulled any images or written anything down yet, I opted to leave a comment on his post then go in a different direction for this review.

I wanted to stick with Wrestler4Hire, so I picked Chet Chastain vs. Tristan Baldwin because of the talent and unpredictability of it. I really liked Flash LaCash vs. Alex Oliver and might talk about it in January (the rest of my December schedule is complete), but let's face it, you know how that one goes. If you like awesome heel Flash and stunning jobber Alex, you should be watching that video.

Chet vs. Tristan had immediate appeal

Review: Aryx Quinn vs. Jonny Firestorm (BGEast)

Continuing the theme of BGEast heel vs. heel matches, I’m covering this BGEast Arena exclusive featuring two true mega-stars of the underground wrestling scene … Aryx Quinn vs. Jonny Firestorm. (Please note: It looks like this match is not available on the main BGEast website)

Two hot heels

This is a unique kind of heel vs. heel matchup. While both are mostly identified as heels, they're not the undefeated, unstoppable kind of villain. I've been an Aryx Quinn fan since his debut, but I feel like I have more matches where Aryx loses in the end than I do where he wins. Even when he wins, he might get knocked out or have the tables turned on him post-match.

Jonny Firestorm hasn't always been a heel, much less some unstoppable monster. Of course while he has had his moments as more of a face character, I think he's evolved into one of the best heels in the business. Whether as a fresh-faced, clean-cut bad boy or a beefy, hairy badass, Jonny always brings the moves and attitude of a true star.

Review: The Contract Series (BGE)

I wrote several posts for Bard's old Sidelineland blog. I've decided to re-post some of them here, as part of consolidating my content.

Inspiration: A Contract Worth Signing

Like most people, I hate signing contracts. Whether it's for cell phones, cable or the gym, companies love to lock us in then treat us like crap. BGEast is the exception, of course. They have a contract I was happy to sign. Not just once, but a whopping ten times.
