Review: Burke vs. Hartley/King (Wrestler4Hire)

*Note: This review was written prior to the launch of Cameron's new site, Wrestler4Hire. I normally include links to the matches, but I'm not sure how that's all working now. Check the new site to find this match.

Whenever Cameron Matthews comes out with new matches, I always give them a good look. I don't always buy, but I think I’ve enjoyed all of his videos that I’ve purchased. On his site, the comments are always revealing as there are a lot of guys with very specific interests and very definite opinions on his content. I’m not that picky. Great action is tops and I find his videos deliver.

Review: Bravo vs. Cage (Thunder’s Arena)

This match intrigued me when it first came out, but I ended up waiting a while before buying. I’m not a crazy fan of these two guys, but the combination of these two huge muscle beasts in one match sounded pretty cool. However, it was $50 and I already had a ton of matches on my iPad, so I didn’t feel a huge rush.

Waiting paid off. Thunder’s Arena eventually reduced it to $33, so with a free match add-on (Marco/Fit), I got three matches for $59, which is under $20 each. With the match downloaded and a little free time, I finally got around to watch it.

How was Johnny Bravo vs. Brian Cage?

Great. The match definitely delivered exactly what I expected. The musclemen, the action and the finish were excellent. It’s a unique product. I can't think of anywhere else in our little gay-oriented wrestling video world where you are going to see two guys that are built like this, with these reputations, in a ring together battling it out.

Review: Dirty Daddy vs. Brian Cage (Thunder's Arena)

It's time for another Thunder's Arena review. We're heading back into the ring for Dirty Daddy vs. Brian Cage, the second of the four Thunder's Arena ring matches I have purchased. I reviewed Dirty Daddy vs. Marco last month. My thoughts on Brian Cage vs. Johnny Bravo will appear in January. And I still haven't watched Dirty Daddy vs. Tak, but look for a review or quick hit in February.

Dirty Daddy vs. Brian Cage features two of the hottest studs in indie pro wrestling. It's great that they've crossed over into more gay-oriented wrestling videos as "underground wrestling" has moved noticeably "above ground" these days. They've both worked for multiple companies in the past couple of years, building up healthy resumes. However, I don't think they've wrestled each other on video before this.

Quick synopsis is that while I can't say I loved it, it was entertaining and had some hot re-watchable moments. I'm definitely happy that I purchased it.

Casting The Cave: Multi-Promotion Edition

The first two Casting posts using guys from Rock Hard Wrestling and BGEast seemed pretty popular. A lot of views and a few comments. So I'm trying again, this time with the guys who are too big to stay in one place, too hot to be contained and so in demand that they can work anywhere and everywhere.

That's right, here's the casting for the multi-promotion guys.

For Rock Hard Wrestling, I did choose Jake Jenkins, but at the time, I didn't know that I would do another casting post. When I followed it up with my BGEast casting thoughts, I specifically left out these guy out. I wanted a more pure choice that couldn't be duplicated anywhere else.

It ended up excluding a lot of guys. I was actually quite shocked just how many guys it disqualified. There are so many sites producing videos now that it’s becoming a blur with the same guys appearing constantly. However, it also meant that there is a robust roster and that this is actually quite a difficult task.
