The Cast: Who's Who (December 2019)

Guys,

It's the end of year and my final casting post of 2019. No new men this month, only new drawings, but you know I still do a casting post even if I've identified all the guys many times before.

CLAW 8

Koke = Khuslen Khan (Model)

Review: Jonny Firestorm vs. Zach Reno (BGEast)

Zach Reno is certainly "having a moment" as people used to say a few years ago. He showed up a few years back as a lean and very hairy hunk, but in limited matches. Now, it feels like he's everywhere. In December alone, I've seen him at three different places. All with different looks and all in really good matches. He's not even jobbing, showing up in back-and-forth battles and even winning occasionally. I love it.

Jonny helps Zach keep his momentum going.

Bird Boy in "The Bird Cage"

“Hello, Bird Boy.”

I’m surprised to hear someone call me by my wrestling name. I’m Xaq, a champion bodybuilder and a champion wrestler. At just 20 years old, I’m already the biggest star in both worlds. Yeah, I play Bird Boy for The Cave, a gay wrestling video company, and I’m here because my boss Cody told me to come. He said it was important for my training and that I’d like it. Something about roleplay and going with it, but I wasn’t really listening. Cody talks too much sometimes.

Review: Scrappy vs. Taylor Reign (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Fresh off winning the 2019 Cavey for Favorite Wrestler, Scrappy is staking an early claim for 2020. He's hitting it out of the park at Wrestler4Hire against Nick Justice (covered by W.R. at his blog), the star of Thunders Arena's Christmas season, and then there's this stunner from MBW's latest catalogue, which is on a whole different level of hotness. If he keeps this up, Scrappy's a lock.

Taylor and Scrappy put on one helluva show.

Review: Cameron Matthews/Big Sexy vs. Austin Cooper/LaneHartley (W4H)

Major spoilers below ...

If Cirque du Soleil did a show about tag teams, this would be it. Their stuff is always about the journey of life. Well, this Wrestler4Hire video is the journey of a tag team. It runs the gamut of a tag team's life from conception to dissolution. Cameron needs a new partner, recruits Big Sexy, they train, face Cameron's archenemies and have the inevitable messy breakup. And all in 36 minutes!

Beautiful.

It's the total story of a tag team.

Chapter 1. Crush. Henchman.

“Congratulations, boys. You have your first taste of being winners. Let there be no doubt that we own these three. And this is just the beginning.”

Review: Dax Carter vs. Spencer Hawkins (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This match was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Watching this was interesting. I’d just finished reading a (very) short story (more like an intro with the details left to the reader’s imagination) on Nifty. The story, called 'Alpha Top Seeks Taming', was incredibly descriptive as the “alpha top” narrator hunts for “a top breaker, a stallion rider, a predator who hunted equals” to manipulate him into conquering him without the “top breaker” knowing he’s actually being a willing submissive.

Huge vs. Skinny but not a squash?

Review: Alex Costa vs. Brad Honeycutt (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Alex: "Hm, looks like Alex Costa has found a good opponent this time, eh? I was a little bit fed up to wrestle these slim boys. Finally, someone who is very big."

Brad: "Name's Brad Honeycutt. I'm here to make a name for myself. And who are you? Costa? Nice to meet you."

I finished up my 2019 Cavey Awards yesterday, which involves re-visiting a ton of matches from the past 12 months. I made the tough calls, wrote up the posts, added the images and they're all set to debut on 12/18/19. With that job done, I was ready to look at something new. Luckily, MBW just shared some new matches from the newly released catalogue 17. Out of the four they sent, Alex Costa vs. Brad Honeycutt was the first one I wanted to check out.

Can the rookie handle the hairy hunk?

Review: Tristan Baldwin vs. Caleb Klein (Wrestler4Hire)

Before I get into this review, I have to admit something. I’m mainly posting this for the pics, so if you skip some of the words, that’s okay. I love Tristan Baldwin and I love seeing him dominated by a big, hunky pro wrestler. This Wrestler4Hire video is beautiful to look at because the all-time great underground wrestler is beautiful to look at as he’s manhandled from beginning to end.

It's all about sexy muscle getting squashed.

CLAW 8: Koke vs. Hollywood

Riot Pro Wrestling. Dublin OH.

“Oh yeah, you’re definitely one of Ben’s boys.”

“Ben’s boys? What does that mean?”

“You know what it means.”

I frown as the veteran pro wrestler and promoter smirks at me. Yeah, he’s right. I know exactly what it means, but I don’t really like it. I’m standing here in a school gymnasium where Riot Pro Wrestling is getting ready for this weekend’s show. I’m here to show what I can do to earn a spot on their roster and the boss starts off with something like that? Makes me wonder if he’s serious about giving me a shot or just looking to play around.

The boss goes by Hollywood. He’s hot as fuck for a guy in his late-30’s, decked out in his practice gear – plain black pro trunks, pads and boots. He’s a handsome white pro wrestler, clocking in around 5’10”/190-lbs of solid muscle. Hollywood is rocking a fake tan and perfect white teeth. He lives up to his name, so fuck him. He’s more of a prettyboy than me.

Hollywood.
