Heroes: Jungle Love (Part III of IV)

CHAPTER VII: REBEL!

DEEP IN THE AFRICAN JUNGLE.

“Korak, stop.”

The 18-year-old white jungle boy was confused, but when his best friend asked him to stop, he stopped every time. Korak trusted Mkuma’s instincts implicitly. The powerful Nagasu warrior stepped forward, grabbing his friend from behind. Korak listened but heard nothing unusual. Mkuma’s senses were better than his, but Korak knew this part of the jungle’s sounds better.

Korak

Korak finally asked, “What is it, Mkuma? What is wrong?”

“Nothing is wrong. We are far enough away, and I cannot wait any longer.”

“For what?”

Heroes: Jungle Love (Part I of IV)

CHAPTER I: CONFRONTATION!

A SMALL COLONIAL OUTPOST. DEEP IN THE AFRICAN JUNGLE.

“Finally got the guts to face me, Tarzan?”

“I am not Tarzan, Slade.”

The shirtless hunter sat up on the bed in his cell to get a closer look at his guest. He had been locked up in the large single cell in the remote jungle outpost for hours. There were only two guards at the outpost, and both were a mile away at Commissioner Barnes’ cabin, debriefing him on the capture of the notorious Slade. They were confident that Slade was secure when they left. It was twilight and the hairy hunter’s men would not try a nighttime rescue.

Slade. Hunter. Currently in jail.

Heroes: The Joy of Being Superman (Part 3 of 3)

CHAPTER 5. CAUGHT BY CATCHUM!

CHRIS’ STUDIO APARTMENT. OLD TOWN. METROPOLIS.

TAP! TAP! TAP!

“Who? Oh. Superman? Come in.”

Chris opens the French doors that lead to the fire escape, and he steps aside. He nervously adjusts his tiger-print robe, wondering if he should have put something on under it. Before opening the doors. He’d hate to be arrested while naked. After the hero’s last visit, Chris has been a confused wreck. He tried using Jimmy Olsen as a source, but the photographer knew nothing about what was going on. He didn’t even know that Chris was in trouble.

Heroes: The Joy of Being Superman (Part 2 of 3)

CHAPTER 3.

NOW. LUKE LANGSTON’S LIVING ROOM. CENTRAL CITY.

As instructed, Superman enters the midcentury modern home through the patio doors after the lights flash. He looks around, pretending to search for something. He keeps his back to the hallway from where Luke will emerge. The mighty muscleman tries to will his cock to shrink. It’s not cooperating. He’s anxious for this moment. The hero has never been so anxious. He tries to clear his mind about the kryptonite. Luke’s real kryptonite that could have killed him.

Superman is sure that Luke doesn’t know that it’s real. Or that he is real. Luckily, his heat vision and freeze breath took it out of play. While Luke changed, the hero used his super-speed to steal the lead box, replace the real rock with a realistic fake version from his Fortress of Solitude, put it back under Luke’s sofa, and message Batman and Elongated Man to investigate. And he has arranged for Luke to ‘win’ $500 receiving his 'prize' tomorrow.

The superhero can't help but smile, thinking, "Not bad for less than three minutes work." With everything handled, Superman can focus on fun. Using his super-hearing, he knows Luke is behind him in the doorway.

It’s time to play.

Heroes: The Joy of Being Superman (Part 1 of 3)

CHAPTER 1.

NOW. LUKE LANGSTON’S HOUSE. CENTRAL CITY.

“Wow. Just wow.”

Luke Langston’s breath is taken away by the 32-year-old, 6’3”/230-lbs, black-haired, bespectacled white muscleman standing at his door. Luke is a handsome white man, but he’s a lot smaller and leaner at 5’10”/160-lbs. Luke is 28, blond, and scruffy. He workouts regularly, getting compliments on his body, but when it comes to being a superhero, he knows that he’s no Trent Stark. Trent is a god.

Trent Stark has Luke drooling.

Alt Version: Different Sentinel Ending

Guys,

Since I don't have a ton of content these days and many readers made it all the way through the Sentinel series (or maybe some of you read each chapter a hundred times), I thought I'd post the first ending to the Sentinel series I uploaded to the blog but changed before publishing.

As you can see from the chart below, Chapters 2-16 were very similar in terms of daily views in the first seven days (although Wednesday might be the worst day to post a story, since both Wednesday stories had the lowest first days). They're certainly within range of one another and generally followed the same path, with a couple of minor exceptions, like everyone's weird bump on Saturday January 14th.

The point is, folks who stuck with it to Chapter 2 were likely to keep reading until Chapter 16.

Sentinel: Daily Views 1st Seven Days by Chapter/Date

This is not the "original" ending. I revised, edited, and changed the story so much that there really is no "original ending". This, however, actually made it to the blog posting queue. I uploaded it in October and it remained the official version for a good month before I suddenly had major anxiety about it and re-wrote it all one more time.

The differences are significant ... the villain is different (Master Mind not Chameleon), his powers are different (young bodybuilder with tech enhanced telepathy and no body-hopping), it wraps up with a slice of life experience for the three lead characters, and it hand waves the villain's momentary triumph away.

When I wrote the first ending, it seemed fun. However, as I thought about it, this version felt unfinished. Neither Chameleon or Master Mind are really ever resolved and the heroic "win" was super-lazy. The only thing I regret changing is the final villain's powers. It complicated things and added a page of unnecessary explanation. I cannot remember why I even did it.

I still really like the character moments and might re-use the bar scene if I ever re-visit the characters. In hindsight, I could've kept it all and just written a final confrontation at the bar, with Adrian still saving the day and Sentinel's new bar friends (you'll see) even helping out in some way. But I didn't. It would be a fun first chapter if I bring them back to explain characters, personalities, and relationships. Act surprised if I ever do re-use it.

----------

Picking up from halfway through Chapter 15, changes are mostly in red, but I left in surrounding stuff for context, followed by Chapter 16 where everything is different ...

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 16/16)

Chapter 16: Conclusion

Location: Sentinel Station. High Orbit Over Earth.

“You’ll never succeed in enslaving us.”

Chameleon laughs at Intrepid’s defiance. “Us? Why would I want you? You’re just a normal. You’re useless to me. The only reason you’re still alive is because you know all the Young Crusaders secrets. And once I pluck them from your mind, you’re heading out the airlock, courtesy of my dog.”

Adrian cries out, “NO!”

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 15/16)

Chapter 15: Violation

Location: State Prison. Conjugal Visit Trailer.

“Get in there.”

“Wait. I told you. I’m not expecting anyone. Please, it’s a setup. Don’t lock me up in here. PLEASE!” The second 'Rack' I met, the henchman I named Bodybuilder Bottom Boy or BBB, is roughly shoved into the trailer, his back to me as the guard slams and locks the door. He's shirtless in standard-issue orange prison pants. Despite his big muscles, he's a coward. He beats on the door in terror, quietly sobbing.

I calmly say, “Hello.”

The 5’7” / 210-lbs henchman slowly turns, immediately dropping to his knees. He begs, “Oh god, please, I didn't betray - wha? Sentinel?” He looks up at me in confusion and shock. I tower over him in my gold and dark red uniform. I extend a hand. He cautiously takes it. I help him to his feet. He asks, “Is - is it - is it really you?”

I pull him into my body. I scoop him up, cradling him. I rise off the floor, hovering with him in my arms as a show of proof, “It is really me, Mr. Bartok.” He holds me around my neck, nervously. Even though he’s a cowardly lion, he did betray Trap Master, and help me save my son. I promised him that he’d get fucked by Sentinel. And a deal’s a deal.

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 14/16)

Chapter 14: Indoctrination

Location: I Wish I Knew.

“HEY! STOP! STOP!”

I call out as I hover helplessly, my balls being stimulated. My cock is pumped in the milking machine as the helmet audio and video becomes more erotic. Trap Master is going all out. I have to stay focused, but I have to admit, I’m genuinely turned on. My cock has stayed hard since this started. I’m embarrassed to admit that if not for my constant thoughts of the danger to my son, I’d be enjoying this experience.

I groan as they bring me closer and closer to climax. They’re not the first villains to try to gain my seed for nefarious uses. It’s how Adrian is even here, after all. The woman who gave birth him tricked me into giving her a sample and betrayed me. Since then, I’ve kept my cum guarded, but I don’t think I can today. Not this time. Everything about this setup has me primed to explode. I relax, while staying perfectly in place. They bring me closer and closer.

The machine is working, but I suddenly feel real human hands all over my body. A live feed of my current situation is cut in with porn images and Trap Master’s voice. I see the henchmen, including Bodybuilder Bottom Boy, fondling me. They’re getting that thrill they wanted. I see and feel my ass being kneaded. They’re alternating rough and gentle. My hole gets massaged. Oh boy.

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 13/16)

Chapter 13: Manipulation

Location: Back of a Villain’s Truck.

Two henchmen drive the truck for a long time. I’m chained up in the back, watched by the other ten henchmen. They started out with energy rifles and gas guns aimed at me, but I’ve been careful to play sleepy muscleboy, so they’ve relaxed. Now, they’re chatting about working for Trap Master. The villain pays upfront, never abuses them, and while they occasionally get beat up, it’s a great gig. This is a repeat gig for most of them. The consensus is that Trap Master is the best boss.

One henchman wonders how far he’ll go with me. “I’d ride this muscle bitch all the way then back again. He’s a fucking beast. Just look at that ass.”

“There’s no way this Meathead guy doesn’t know he's got a great ass, either. Dude is shameless, flaunting those massive cakes. The costume’s fucking built to say, ‘hey, bitches, look at my amazing ass, come fuck me’. Yeah, I'll fuck you, hero. I'll make your dreams come true.”

The new "Rack", the cowardly bodybuilder who surrendered first, says, “That’s sweet, but look at the package, too. I bet Meathead’s hung like horse.”

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 12/16)

Chapter 12: Invasion

Location: Abandoned Meat Storage Warehouse. New City USA.

“All right Trap Master. Time to get one step closer to capturing you.”

I check myself in the mirror. No matter how often I see myself in this disguise – purple-streaked hair, shaved face, hairless body, spray tan, purple contacts, temporary freckles and arm tattoos, and tortoise shell glasses, I can’t get used to it. Hopefully, it won’t be for much longer, but it’s just important that I not be recognized as Sentinel right now. I ran this look through the best recognition programs there are and none of them matched me to Sentinel.

I fire up my laptop. Three minutes to wait. True to his word, Trap Master escaped exactly three weeks after I caught him. The next day, a countdown appeared on his website. Since then, I’ve followed the clues, each coded in flawless Lacution, to a series of traps that tested Meathead physically and mentally. I overcame each one, making sure to struggle enough to keep him interested.

I deciphered the original clue to mean that there would be ten tests and I’ve done eight. I thought about losing early on, but worried that if I allowed myself to fail that he’d walk away. I’m pretty sure I was right and that I need to earn seeing him again. Two more traps and I’ll have his ultimate location. His ultimate trap. And my ultimate surprise – the successful capture of Trap Master.

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 11/16)

Chapter 11: Action

Location: Sentinel Station. High Orbit Over Earth.

“Why are you not interested in fucking me?”

Bear chokes on his beer. I wait for the hairy muscleman to stop coughing. His eyes water. He pounds his barrel chest, trying to get his breath back. We’re hanging out after stopping a domestic militia attack on a hospital. We said we’d clean up and go to a movie, but instead, as we sit here in full costume, drinks in hand, I decided I’d rather do something else.

I used to only call Bear when I wanted sex. For months, we’ve been hanging out as friends. My son says we’re dating, but we’ve never said that. We’re a good match physically. He’s almost my height (6’6”) and thicker at 400-lbs of dense, compact muscle. He’s the second strongest member of the Assembly after me. His super-strength increases the more he gives into his animal side, but he runs the risk of losing his intellect if he lets go too much.

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 10/16)

Chapter 10: Submission

Location: Sentinel Station. High Orbit Over Earth.

Intrepid is interrogating me, “But the report says Daemon and his men claim they fired a cosmic energy weapon, knocked you down, and the henchmen shot you. Daemon swears he tied you up, molested you, and almost broke you.”

I sigh. I don’t really want to talk about this, but Intrepid has intercepted me. Information moves faster than I realized. Because of something he read on some villain dark web place about the Daemon incident involving me, my son’s boyfriend got worried and started looking into it. I’m sure he wanted to help but now, his detective skills are leading him in a direction I don’t want him to go. He’s asking annoying questions.

I play dumb, “There’s already a report?”

“Preliminary. It also claims this mysterious weapon is missing.”

“Sounds awfully convenient. Villains lie, you know. Especially Dr. Daemon. Unfortunately, he had a mental break. I wouldn't believe anything he says. And the henchmen missed almost everything. Unconscious. Possible concussions. They might have scrambled memories.” I try to change the subject, “Got big plans for Adrian’s return? Just a few shopping hours left.”

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 9/16)

Chapter 9: Confrontation

Location: Blister Point. The Dead Desert USA.

“Where are these - SENTINEL?”

“Hello, Dr. Daemon.”

The villain stops in his tracks, surprised to see me. The man is a fit 5’9” / 160-lbs, dressed in a neat, bright yellow business suit with red lapels. He wears bright red socks, shirt, tie, and nail polish with matching red leather belt and dress shoes. He’s got a thin, angled face and is clean-shaven with thick flaming orange hair.

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 8/16)

Chapter 8: Negotiation

Location: Trap Master’s Lair. New City USA.

“Wrap it up, men!”

Just as the tension has reached its peak, Trap Master comes in and lets them know it’s time. The villain unknowingly saved the day. I relax. Thank god. They start to adjust Combat Kid’s rack to take him with them. I get worried about that, too. I don’t care what Intrepid says. I could stop this all right now. That’s when I hear the young Latino hero finally whisper, “Now!”

Suddenly, Intrepid leaps down from his rack. He’s looking for a fight. A couple of henchmen scream while four attack him. Combat Kid is loose, too, also on the attack. My distraction worked, enabling them to get free. The henchmen split five-on-one. Trap Master orders his henchmen to delay us. It’s a melee. The henchmen get their shots in, but now free to fight back, the boys are holding their own.

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 7/16)

Chapter 7: Reverberation

Location: Trap Master’s Lair. New City USA.

The henchman named Cross bellows, “BOSS! WE GOT HEROES!”

I’ve seen ten henchmen while being dragged across the smooth concrete floor. They’re all shirtless in white gear - tights, tall pro wrestling boots, wide leather belts, gloves, and glued on masks around their eyes and covering their nose. They’re all muscular with tattoos, some slim, others bigger. And they all have words painted on their chests - their code names.

Cross and Rack are the two biggest ones of the henchmen I’ve seen. They handled dragging my 320-lbs of muscle easily, both big and strong with powerlifter bodies. Of course, it helped in that I let them drag me without resistance, feigning unconsciousness. Maybe a mistake, but I’m kind of enjoying it. And orders are orders. Intrepid doesn’t want my help, so I’ll play along.

Cross asks, “We figured out how they got in, yet, Manacles?”

“I’m working, I’m working. Little bitches avoided the alarms.”

“This ain’t no little bitch.” A guy with the word ‘Cuffs’ on his chest nudges me with his foot “Fuck, he’s massive.”

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 6/16)

Chapter 6: Collaboration

Location: Sentinel Station. High Orbit Over Earth.

“So, going out tonight?”

As I put dinner on the table, Intrepid appears fully dressed for superhero action, just missing a mask. He’s in a head-to-toe in a black bodysuit that is tight like spandex but stronger than Kevlar, an invention by his teammate Battleforce. He’s got black leather knee-high boots and elbow-high gloves, and utility belts on the thighs, waist, wrists and biceps holding his weapons and other gear. The only color is a pink “i” with the stem on the front of his tights and the circle on his belt buckle.

The young hero nods, “Combat Kid and me are on a stakeout.”

“Oh.” I hesitate but ask, “Mind if I tag along?” I see the reaction. “Now who doesn’t have a poker face. Understood. I’ll just hang out here.”

Heroes: Sentinel (Chapter 5/16)

Chapter 5: Revelation

Location: Sentinel Station. High Orbit Over New City USA.

“How’s the visit going, son?”

Adrian replies, “Awesome. I hear things are going great up there.” I bite my bottom lip, trying to figure out whether to talk about it now or wait until we’re face-to-face. My son laughs, “Wow, you really don’t have a poker face.”

“What?”

“Dad, I know what’s been going on up there. Sir and me talk every day and believe me when I tell you, he’s told me everything.”
