Review: Brad Honeycutt vs. Taylor Reign (Muscleboy Wrestling)

I was excited to buy Brad Honeycutt vs. Taylor Reign from Muscleboy Wrestling's latest catalogue for a couple of reasons. First, it has one of MBW's original bad boys, Taylor Reign, who I think is great. And second, it has Brad Honeycutt who I hope will be great. He had a great debut against Alex Costa but would there be a sophomore slump? Spoiler: there isn't.

Two studs I definitely wanted to see again!

Review: Scrappy vs. Taylor Reign (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Fresh off winning the 2019 Cavey for Favorite Wrestler, Scrappy is staking an early claim for 2020. He's hitting it out of the park at Wrestler4Hire against Nick Justice (covered by W.R. at his blog), the star of Thunders Arena's Christmas season, and then there's this stunner from MBW's latest catalogue, which is on a whole different level of hotness. If he keeps this up, Scrappy's a lock.

Taylor and Scrappy put on one helluva show.

Review: JJ Allen vs. Taylor Reign (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Taylor Reign vs. JJ Allen was released back in catalogue 5 (MBW is now within a fortnight of releasing catalogue 8). As so often happens, it sat on my hard drive for a long time, but I eventually got around to it. I'm not sure why I didn't look at it, as I like both guys, but better late than never.

Taylor takes control of JJ (who doesn't seem to mind).

Review: Justin Powers vs. Taylor Reign (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Full disclosure: This video was sent to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.

Taylor: "You must be the new jobber."
Justin: "Yes, I am."
Taylor: "Well, I'm the king here. You think you can wrestle?"
Justin: "I'll try it out."

BGEast is famous for holding onto videos (I saw a comment that they have 200 unreleased matches). They release things years after they film, some of them amazing, like the Cavey and BESTIE winner for overall match of 2017, Cole Cassidy vs. Josh Goodman.

Well, with Justin Powers vs. Taylor Reign, I'm now wondering if Muscleboy Wrestling isn't trying the same approach. Keeping some hot stuff in the bank so they're always ahead of the game.

The "new jobber" gets a lesson from the "king".

Review: Taylor Reign vs. Travis Bennett (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Of course I like it when producers come out with a ton of videos, but with so many options, it's easy to miss things. I haven't even really looked at Muscleboy Wrestling's fifth catalogue, still mired in the earlier rounds. During their last sale, I went exploring and like Christopher Columbus, I discovered something a ton of people knew about before me.

In this case, what I discovered was Taylor Reign vs. Travis Bennett. It's quite different than my previous MBW videos, but it's also really good.

Young bucks make like bulls to start this gem.
