Chapter 1: The Butler Did It.

The butler frantically tied his robe around his waist to cover his lean-muscled body as he raced downstairs. Under his robe, the well-built 56-year old manservant was naked. Normally, he would have thrown on something more, but he knew there was no time. The alarm had triggered mere moments ago, signaling someone was on the grounds. He had to get downstairs quickly.

As Alfred entered the expansive foyer, he saw the front door wide open. A familiar red and yellow motorcycle was parked out front. He turned to see the young man striding down the hall, his long black cape with the yellow lining flowing behind him. Alfred jogged to catch up as the determined intruder walked confidently but quickly through the opulent mansion towards the library. Towards the entrance to the cave. That meant trouble.

The older man called out, “Master Tim? Wait!” Alfred caught up as Red Robin burst through the double wooden doors to the library. “Sir? Please wait. I wasn’t expecting you this evening.” He added with a tone that expressed disapproval, “And through the front door in your fighting togs? What if someone sees your motorcycle? Please move it immediately.”

The 18-year old hero turned, “Alfred. Sorry to wake you, but I got a call earlier. Bruce is in trouble. I haven’t gotten an update, so I came here. I need to use the Batcomputer to track him or the Batmobile. I don’t have time to move the bike.”

Heroes: Bane of My Existence 4

Chapter 1. Crush. Henchman.

“Congratulations, boys. You have your first taste of being winners. Let there be no doubt that we own these three. And this is just the beginning.”

Heroes: Bane of My Existence 3

Previously, the villainous Bane’s nefarious plot to weaken Batman, Gotham City’s greatest champion, climaxed in the hero’s defeat and humiliation (BoME 1). Superman saved the day, leaving Batman in the care of his butler Alfred and eventually defeating Bane. Unfortunately, Alfred is actually an enemy not an ally. He’s the one who hired Bane to destroy Batman! The malevolent manservant betrays Superman and both heroes ended up captured. (BoME 2)

Meanwhile, earlier that same evening ...

Chapter 1: Henchmen!

The twin black motorcycles eased down the deserted road towards the coordinates with their headlights off. The moon was the only illumination along this desolate unmapped road. Even GPS had no idea it existed. The dense forest formed a canopy overhead, dimming the moonlight. While the lights of Gotham City could be seen in space, they were completely blocked by trees and hills. The riders glided into the trees behind cover.

This was it.

The two men slid off their motorcycles, removing their helmets to reveal their masked heads, intense eyes, frowning mouths and square jaws. The lead biker used his special mapping app to confirm what he already knew. These were the exact right coordinates. He breathed in and out slowly. As he calmed himself, he counted backwards, easing into serenity. He was ready.

The 6’5”/270-lbs Black muscleman went by Crush now. When he looked around, the tall bruiser saw nothing but trees and rock. He knew they were somewhere near the remote mansions of Gotham City’s oldest and richest families. He didn’t know why, but he didn’t care. Crush knew that he was on the winning side this time. If his boss wanted him to stand in this forest all night, he would do it. This was a henchmen’s life and he was a very good henchman.

Crush carefully unzipped his black leather jacket, revealing his bare muscular torso. He slipped the jacket off, lying it on his bike. He unfastened the belt of his leather chaps that protected his thick bare legs while riding. He slid them off, enjoying the freedom as the night air whipped over his flesh. He kept his black leather gloves on, along with his tall black leather boots and black spandex briefs. This was his uniform now and he liked it. Not that he had a choice.

Crush!

Heroes: Bane of My Existence 2

Chapter 1: The Batmobile

Outside Gotham City, the spandex-clad muscleman drove down the empty highway at breakneck speeds, testing the incredible handling of the one-of-a-kind vehicle. His bulging biceps flexed inside the famous gray unitard, straining the seams. His mountainous pecs distorted the black Bat symbol as the fabric stretched across his massive chest.

Under his black mask, he actually smiled, an unusual event for the determined and serious muscleman. The Batmobile was unlike any other car in existence and he had to admit, he was impressed by its capabilities. In any other vehicle, he and his unconscious passenger would likely have spun out, rolled or crashed multiple times. It was an engineering marvel.

In fact, the arrogant powerhouse was much more impressed by the car’s performance than by the pathetic display from its previous owner earlier tonight. His vaunted opponent had presented no challenge. The outcome of their fight was never in doubt. Not that he had expected anything else. His months of detailed preparation had played out exactly as planned. As it always did. Still, he would have enjoyed a little competition. Some kind of surprise.

Review: Batman vs. Bane (Hero Hunks)

Note: This video is called Dark Detective vs. Vengeance on the Hero Hunk’s site. Thanks, Ivam for the comment!

After basically taking a month off from posting about new videos, I have a lot of catch up on. I figured I'd start here, because I don't think others bloggers have touched on it, yet. W.R. covered a different video on his Screencaps blog, but I haven't seen this one mentioned. The rest of January, I'll be repeating what others have reviewed, but let's start fresh.

By now, you probably know that Wrestler4Hire has launched a couple of spinoff sites. One of those is focused on superheroes. They've always had superhero content, so I'm not sure why the need for Hero Hunks, but perhaps it's just an organizational tool to keep things focused. Not that it matters. Fact is, you can't put out superhero content without me being curious. And when one of your first videos is Batman vs. Bane, you can pretty much just take my money.

Okay, men, let's get it on.

Heroes: Bane of My Existence 1

Chapter One: A New Challenge

WHOOSH. THUD.

Batman landed carefully, with the skill and precision of an Olympic gymnast half his size. As the masked muscleman perched on the roof of the Gotham Garden Inn, the caped crusader paused and took a moment to breathe. Despite being a man of near perfection, he was still capable of being tired. Actually, exhausted was the better term for how he currently felt. Physically and mentally, he had been from going non-stop for months. Still, even as fatigued as he was, he would never give into it. He clamped his grappling hook to the roofs edge and worked his way down the wall.

Batman descended four stories to the eighth floor balcony below with remarkable precision. Despite being a large man, 6'2" and 230-lbs of solid muscle, the cowled crimefighter barely made a sound. He stayed to the side, out of view, as he disconnected the rope line and carefully inserted it back into his famous utility belt.
