Some news on the content front. 2022 will continue on auto-pilot, but …
Looks like I’ll have new stories monthly in 2023. I’ve finished one and started 10 more. By started, I mean that they all have beginnings (setup) and endings (stakes and story) done, they just need the wrestling action written.
It's probably not the story you want, but it's the story I needed. The finished one is actually a superhero tale. I continue to be unreasonably proud of myself for actually finishing something. I have doubted myself on it a lot. In the past couple of weeks, I’ve re-written large chunks of it twice and still have serious questions about it. I think I could spend the rest of my life changing it, but I’ve decided to just upload it and move on, living with the results.

Starting in February, the 10 stories will be posted at a pace of one a month on the first Monday. I’m feeling like I can finish them. They are only missing the wrestling after all. Eight of the ten are Cave stories that focus mainly on dangling plot points. This includes a six-part story called “The Road to El Paso”, which goes from Arizona (3 stories) to El Paso (2 stories) then ends back in LA (1 story). The other two started tales are superhero stories.
Familiar characters wrestling in The Cave stories include Beau, Buck, Cody, Jeff, Keith, ‘Lethal’ Lee Evans, Toby, Valet, and Xaq. If I can think of a good idea, I’d like to do a Jae story as my 12th story in the 2023 queue, but that doesn’t exist at this point. I’m stuck on what else to do with him. He will appear as a character, but not as a wrestler unless I get an epiphany. There are only four new wrestlers and only one story that features two new characters facing off.

Before the blog, I never watched 2-3 wrestling videos a week and I was doing even more than that just to find enough review-worthy ones. While I enjoyed sharing the images and GIFs, reviewing videos often turned watching into a must-do chore and an intellectual exercise. I prefer my wrestling as a purely erotic experience that only happens when I’m in the mood.
I’ve also been reading more than watching. I never really got into porn. Wrestling videos were my video porn. I always liked stories more and I’m spending time reading and re-reading hot stories on sites like Telemachus, GayDemon, and Nifty.
One additional plug … Sexy Alpha Wrestler emailed me that he was inspired by me (!) to write some great wrestling stories that you can find here: LINK. They are hot and well-written, so they can help you pass the time and discover a new writer!
Anyway, just a quick update since I actually have some news.

DeleteAren’t you a clever fellow! :) Yes, most of the combinations could be kind of obvious. Maybe a couple of surprises but I’m not trying to trick anyone. The matches grow naturally from the narrative, so no one should expect Jeff vs Valet or Cody vs Lee or anything.

DeleteNo idea who will win tbh. Xaq has the size, strength and training with Cody but that submissive urge could always strike. I mean, he loves getting dominated by Winston (still one of my favorite things I hoped for that came true), another "small" guy. Plus, there could be outside interference.
If you get the urge, I'd really love another match with Winston and his Toyboy character especially him winning a round and using the plug/ring item. There's something about how you write Winston that makes his matches so hot. Anyway, glad you are back.

Yay you're back!!!! I've been worried about you hope all is well I get it tho we all have our creative drout periods always best to step back & reflect I'm just excited for what's coming! Kinda shocked tho you feel Jae has almost run his course I mean I love Cody & Ryan stories more but Jae is still in my top 10 characters of yours so I just hope you know you've done right by him!

DeleteLet me clarify the Jae thing. It’s more that he’s done a lot than he’s run his course. Wrestled big guys, small guys, old friends, Cody’s old ex, as a good guy, as a heel, had vivid dreams, tag team, etc. Not that he can’t do any of those things again. I just don’t have a matchup that seems as interesting as say the Toyboy one. Maybe because he’s less flawed than Cody or Ryan where I can always find a way to generate conflict. I have the same issue with Ben who I’ve made too perfect, but no one is clamoring for a new Ben match. I know there are big Jae fans and I’d like to give them something good in 2023.
I don’t play video games, actually.

ReplyDeleteFor Jae, maybe a match with Him could work, especially with Him's "perfect male" thing and Superstar's well-known krpytonite. Or maybe it's Darkstar and it takes a different turn. Or maybe Kraken and Metallo fight over him about who hes into more, and the winner gets both. Or Darkstar interferes when they're both wiped from wrestling each other. Regardless, the outline and list of characters sounds awesome and can't wait to see what you have in store!

DeleteI have re-read Him's debut MANY times, and would love to see that dangling plot thread with Mr. Riddle and Captain Patriot resolved somehow. It would be timely, what with Adam Warlock set to make his big screen debut soon. But, more to the point, I am also thrilled to discover that you are returning to the writer's desk. You have an amazing talent for it and an enduring fan base.

DeleteNot to kibbitz too much with a demonstrated master storyteller, but I would love Him to dominate Captain Patriot as part of a set-up for a "showdown" match with Mr. Riddle, who remains one of the few "alpha" characters that has only been humbled once (against Nuke Man). Since then, he has been a pretty dominant force, and rather cocky about it.
DeleteThat was likely the original plan. It makes sense based on who was there when Him was introduced.
DeleteIn Cave hierarchy, there are only a few characters whose default outcome is winning unless there’s outside interference or extenuating circumstances. Riddle is one of those for sure. He should be competitive against anyone his size or bigger and should dominate most smaller guys.

DeleteTelemachus: (1) Kyle Cicero - A Top Takedown (an author gets duped, so maybe it's close in for me); Alphaman (the later half especially). (2) Khalid - Oil Check for a Superhero. (3) SheroNY - Revenge of the Spellbinder (it's a rewrite of one of the first stories I ever read and loved).
GayDemon: (1) Todd Fleming - Strange Dealings (Superman get collared in Part 4, which I love). (2) Ryan Rizzler - A Top's Transformation (it's unfinished but I can finish it in my head based on the plot and the characters introduced). (3) Elliot Pike - Indoctrination (seemed slow but a weirdly hypnotic story for the narrator and reader).
Nifty: A lot of hit-miss stuff that isn't to my taste but the volume is so high, I can usually find something to read. (1) RopingTop - I really like his sweet, mutual relationship stuff, not the kidnapping forced slavery stuff. (2) Superhero stories ... I'll search for those in Celebrity and usually there's something good in them.
Love Kyle Cicero's stories. Oil check is my favorite of his newer stories. Also a big fan of The Day the Star Went Out. Would recommend Steve Stimle's work as well, as it hits similar notes of domination and humiliation.
DeleteYou should also check out gaykinkystories.com. There aren't many wrestling stories, but a lot of really great superhero and other domination stories.
Also, the author drainthehero is quite good. He has a series about Superboy being dominated by wrestlers, as well as others.

DeleteHello, I come to the site from time to time, to re-read old stories. And I'm glad to hear you're back (soon :-). It’s great news: we missed you so much! I was a bit taken aback by what you wrote about Jae. I hope you'll find some inspiration: I'm his biggest fan and I can't imagine your return without at least one story about La Cave's sexiest hero. Long ago, I had suggested a story with the leaping and athletic Web and a “kama sutra style fighting tactics”. But maybe it’s not the real problem actually. Jae is one of your hotest character, and he is a cool guy. Of course, you're the writer and commander in chief... but I wouldn't really understand why not use this asset in your amazing stories. Anyway, just knowing you're back is enough to brighten my day! Best regards. Dum

DeleteIt’s cool. When I wrote that about Jae, I expected some suggestions. That’s a good one with SuperStar and Web.
DeleteOk, so 2 news ideas:
Delete1/ The Cave threatened by an opposing production team, also based on superheroes, more professional but maybe less human and cool (a bit like RockHardW compared to other more "tinkered" productions). For the first time, Cody's business would be in jeopardy. And the solution proposed by the boss of the other team would be a match where Jae would face the "superman character" of the other team, and whoever wins would become the best team in the eyes of the fans. The boss of this new production company turns out to be Jae's ex, (the one who gave advice to his opponents to win against him...)
Or 2/ we could bring in a young fighter who would flirt with Cody, and face Jae in a match, where he would use all his skills to win and humiliate him, to cause a temporary rift between Jae and Cody. This fighter could be a younger cousin of Xaq (wrestling team in college ?) even more of a hothead. It would be fun to have Xaq's fight's advices to his cousin (who wouldn't need it)... but the story would also talk about the difficulty of making your couple last, especially when you live in such a sexy environment and have made it your job.
Haha, let me know if you want more ideas to bring back Jae as the star he obviously should be in The Cave stories :-) Dum
