Review: Cameron Matthews vs. Jonny Firestorm (BGEast)

It's usually a bad sign when a movie or comic book is endlessly delayed. Being put on the shelf is the worst sign because you just know it's a complete dud. At some point, it gets released for contractual reasons, not because anyone believes in it. BGEast consistently challenges this entire premise by filming great matches with all-star talent then putting them on the shelf for years and decades.

Maybe I need to view these matches differently. Think of them as fine wine, because Jonny Firestorm vs. Cameron Matthews has aged amazingly well.

Cameron Matthews' persona has certainly evolved over time. From the freshest young babyface in wrestling and frequent victim, he is now all grown up as the boss of Wrestler4Hire. While that still involves jobbing, it also involves using his tight muscles and abusing his lofty position in classic pro wrestling fashion. In tight red trunks, Cameron is looking fit and fiery.

Review: Brendan Byers vs. Ethan Axel Andrews (BGEast)

I will admit, I'm going to miss a lot of great rookies for the next little while. With my break from watching wrestling videos, I'm mainly focused on matches featuring my favorites. And there have been quite a few of those across the gay wrestling world. Brendan Byers and Ethan Axel Andrews definitely qualify as favorites. I've watched a lot from both and couldn't wait to see them hit the mats at BGEast.

We get the best from both these studs.

During my blogging hiatus, I also took a hiatus from new wrestling videos and keeping up with blogs. There are a lot of matches that I missed. Great ones, I'm sure. Favorite wrestlers. New wrestlers. Old wrestlers at new places. I'll never be able to catch up but there are some matches that I really wanted to go back and watch. Bull Barrett vs. Nick Flex is definitely one of them.
