Okay, I'm going to start with another aside. I dislike Blogger's new interface for posting. To me, it's an example of folks trying to justify their existence and changing things simply to change them. It is free and I make them zero money, so I try not to look a gift horse in the mouth. It's just that so far, it seems worse in every way. I can't think of one actual improvement that I've found so far. Ugh.
Glad to get that off my chest. Now, let's get to business. And that business is wrestling. Specifically, Brad Honeycutt vs. Nick Milani. Luckily, this video isn't disappointing. It's actually quite good.

I like Brad Honeycutt. He's a lean, ripped muscle boy with strong wrestling skills. Brad gives old school big performances, with a lot of yelling and a lot of exaggerated reactions. So far, I've seen him as a jobber to bigger hunks Alex Costa, Gabe Steel and lean heel Taylor Reign. He gives the impression that he's more than good enough to win, but against those guys, anyone would struggle.

Nick Milani is a lean prettyboy. He's very pretty but he definitely feels more porn wrestler than pro wrestler. Tattoos don't signify toughness any more, so I expected this to be a squash, giving Brad not only his first win at MBW, but an easy one at that. Brad agrees with me, taking Nick pretty lightly. Turns out, Nick's got more fight in him than either of us expected and this is actually a back-and-forth match.
I need to acknowledge is the gear in this one. It features two of my favorite pairs of trunks at MBW. First up, we have Brad in the white trunks that Austin Tyler made famous in his sweat-fest against Nick Flex. They're made for a guy who sweats and Brad gets plenty wet in this one. Meanwhile, Milani's decked out in tight denim print trunks that fit beautifully in back. JJ Allen rocked these ones against Justin Powers. I've done full reviews of both those matches.

Action-wise, this is a clash of attitudes and styles. Nick's main skill is kicking. Very 60's Batgirl. His feet set up the pro for reversals, submission holds and even a rack. Brad is more of a classic wrestler. His confidence is driven by his skills advantage then undone by his overconfidence. Brad is able to get Nick into some hot positions with bodyslams, backbreakers, crabs and a dominant rack.

In the end, this is a good video. It was more competitive than I expected. Brad gets his best chance to win, if he can overcome his hubris. And Nick looks great being tortured and using his feisty feet.

I love the denim print trunks! They're probably my favorite at Muscleboy. Brad's trunks are nice too. This looks like a fun match, I'm sure I'll check it out... Eventually.
