Review: Todd the Rod vs. Vinny Motz (Wrestler4Hire)

And we’re back with more of Todd the Rod and his “hairy dad bod, dorky jokes and comebacks, a fading Batman tattoo [and] his total commitment to his own [uncool]ness.” That description courtesy of Wrestler4Hire. My description is that he’s an entertaining guy with a unique look and style. Yesterday, he was totally squashed, but what about today against someone who isn’t a badass pro wrestler?

(Not Really A) Review: Scrappy vs. Dashing Dustin (W4H)

Okay, I had to post on this. It is officially the strangest wrestling video I've seen ... ever? Since it features Scrappy, I had to watch it, but I didn't realize what I was going to be watching. Wrestler4Hire calls it "Neck Attack", which is right, but it's a very specific neck attack. It's literally one hold applied over and over for 20+ minutes.

Review: Ace Aarons vs. Kirk Donahue (BGEast)

Half of the wrestlers from Wrestling with Pride 1 return to face off in Wrestling with Pride 2. However, Ace Aarons vs. Kirk Donahue is the only match that SPOILER ALERT features a winner from last year's event. It actually SPOILER ALERT features two! Ace and Kirk return, putting their 1-0 records on the line. One of these men will have the best record at WWP.

Kirk decides to see if Ace's bulge is award-worthy.

Pro Wrestlers ...

Adam Page ... his All-Elite debut didn't go exactly as planned, but he did turn the Full Gear Challenge around. I was disappointed in a body-shaming angle, especially for a guy who's so fucking hot already, but it ended up with a message that any shape can be Full Gear shape. With that out of the way, I'm looking forward to him winning the AEW belt. He'll look great with gold around his waist. #allelite

Review: Scrappy vs. Texas (Thunders Arena)

I haven't watched as much Thunders Arena this year as I usually do, but certain things still draw my attention. Big, brawny hunks like Texas are definitely one of them. Thunders has a history of finding great new talent. They come and go, but even when they go, they're quickly replaced by new musclemen. And when these new guys are put against one of the best in the business, I'll check it out.
