Review: Chet Chastain vs. Mark Muscle w/Brendan Cage (Wrestler4Hire)

Today, I'm covering a video from Wrestler4Hire featuring what I'd call a specialty taste, but it's likely one with broad appeal. Why? Well, it's based off a classic pro wrestling trope. You'll know the one. The one where the evil rich guy (e.g., a promoter, manager, etc.) uses hired muscle to hurt the handsome face. The one where an emotionless brute for hire uses his superior muscle to abuse a cute young stud for his employer's enjoyment. Yeah, that one.

If this scenario appeals to you, you'll likely love this video. The talent and elements of that story are all pretty much here and Chet makes a great victim.

Brendan: "It's nice to be rich. Just have people do what
I want them to do. Like kick your little pussy ass."

Everyone looks good. Chet Chastain is stunning, as always. This is my favorite Chet look - six-pack abs, tight trunks, nice little bulge and bad boy goatee. In the role of the hired destroyer, Mark Muscle is massive, even thicker than usual, severely attired in black football pants. It's perfect for the role. And Brendan is sexy mature beef, playing the role of rich asshole perfectly.

Sexy Chet is a champion ... sufferer.

Chet looks great from any direction.

This video delivers on all the key themes fans would expect. On the hero side, Chet is declared, although not proven, to be 'tough'. So, we know he's normally a winner, which makes his humiliation sweeter. He's hot and has the least amount of clothes on. So, we know he's a prettyboy show-off. The kind of guy any evil wrestling promoter would want to wreck.

Brendan monologues like a villain. He talks about the joy of being rich and about the money he's paying the muscle monster simply to kick Chet's ass. The suited-up stud bosses the 6'4" monster around, telling him how to make the nearly naked 'prettyboy' really suffer. He obviously wants to wreck cute Chet, but the 'why' is a mystery. Maybe he's just evil.

And so, Evil Brendan is mocking and completely disrespectful to the smooth, sexy stud, even as he hides behind his massive hired muscle. Anyone could be tough with a beast like that doing his dirty work. Mark is mostly silent, fulfilling his only purpose as an instrument of destruction. And he is thoroughly dominant and unstoppable.

Brendan: "C'mon, prettyboy. Show me something."

Brendan: "It's like watching a sixth grader wrestle."

Brendan: "I heard you were tough!"

Action-wise, it's fairly simple and somewhat repetitive. Chokes, bearhugs, scissors and various other holds are used to crush the helpless hunk. I would've loved some slams and power moves, but it all works. Chet is a great sufferer, moaning and screaming, submitting more than once to the abuse. He plays the confused and hapless victim like the pro he is, begging for mercy. Yeah, like that'll work. Brendan doesn't strike me as a man inclined to grant mercy.

Throughout the match, diabolical Brendan questions Mark's efforts. He slowly strips down to his underwear, so you know he's eventually going to get involved to "show Mark how it's done". After all, that's another one of the themes for this kind of video, isn't it? Once the hero is weakened, the boss can safely step in, acting tough, confident that he won't face any resistance.

The ending is somewhat abrupt and mysterious. Chet submits (again) to a crushing bearhug as Brendan checks his watch. Cage says, "Okay, I think we've had all the fun in the ring for today. C'mon, bring him this way." There are several ways to interpret that, so I thought I'd mention it. My head canon says Chet just gets thrown outside for being weak.

In the end, I did enjoy this for what it is. It's a very specific wrestling scenario that we all know. And you can check the boxes for the elements that make it work. The performers all buy-in to the premise and keep things going. Yeah, there's a little too much looking at the camera, but if this is one of your fantasies, check it out.
