Review: Nick Sparx vs. Zacky & Matty (Wrestler4Hire)

In part three of my Q+A with Cameron, he told me that Nick Sparx had less than 30 minutes training before entering the Wrestler4Hire ring. It showed, but since then, he's wrestled quite a few pros and gotten a lot more experience. None of that experience is needed here as Nick faces two devious twins who just want a chance to take his hot ass down.

There's a bit of storyline at the beginning, with Cameron sitting behind a desk as the twins come in, looking for a match with Nick. Cameron scoffs at the very idea, pointing out Nick's distinct advantage on the muscle-front, but the challengers are confident. Convinced by their bravado, Cameron decides to let them have a go at the stunning stud.

I've praised Nick before. He's a great looking bro-dude type, with a smooth muscular physique and a handsome face. He's not a muscleman giant, as the set-up might have you believe, but you could see him comfortably handling either of his opponents in a one-on-one match. Lucky for them (and us), this isn't a one-on-one match.

Nick will be your plaything, but
some areas are off-limits.

Talk about a mixed message - a loving
caress followed by a stiff double punch.

Action-wise, this is silly and sloppy, but it's fun. The closest thing to wrestling you see are the few interludes where Nick gets one of the guys one-on-one. There, you'll see an over-the-knee backbreaker, a semi-crab-like hold and a schoolboy pin with a bridge. The rest of the time, when the smaller guys are in charge, it's all about them stretching Nick out and showing him off as he helplessly struggles.

Personally, I like seeing Nick job out. He's perfect for this. Obviously, the stud has a body worth displaying. And personality-wise, he's not whiny or upset about the situation. He has the same monotone dude-voice as Marco. In fact, I think they sound identical. He's pretty much cool with the twins dominating him, going with flow.

Nick might call out the unfairness, but he never really objects to it. He just has a 'hey-little-dudes-how-about-not-cheating-for-a-second' vibe, but it's never more intense than that. I respect a hot muscleman who's down with being on the wrong side of a double-team for my entertainment. Of course, since I don't remember a legit submission hold on their part, maybe that's why he's so calm.

Poor Nick gets no respect. Yay!

In the end, this is one of those things you know if you'll like or not. It's a light-hearted romp. I think Nick's a wonderful victim and seeing two lanky twins manhandle him is fun and sexy.
