This post contains spoilers. There's no way to talk about these videos without it, because I need to talk about what I like and don't like. Sometimes I can be vague, but in this case, the action is the thing. You've been warned.
Beefed up Blayne wants revenge. |
Cason welcomes an even newer muscleman. |
Cason vs. Blayne
At the start of 2018, Blayne said he was trying to beef up his body. It looks like he's succeeding. My favorite jobber of 2017 is looking bigger and badder than ever. He's missing his body hair, but I'll forgive him. Of course Cason is still bigger and buffer, but it's a lot closer than it was. The young buck starts out in a t-shirt, but the reveal makes it worth the few minutes of not seeing that torso.
The chemistry between these two is incredible. Blayne's bitter. Cason's cocky. Their rapport extends to the physical side, too. Blayne reminds Cason that he worshipped him in the first match. Cason remembers it with a smile, "Yeah, you did." It all creates a terrific revenge narrative. Blayne talks tough, even accusing Cason of eating too much McDonald's.
Blayne actually questions Cason's body. |
Blayne's achieving his body goals. |
Blayne uses my favorite moment of their first meeting to shock and awe the stunning muscle stud. Blayne's a great dom, seizing his chance to humiliate the big man. It's super-sexy and I really, really enjoyed it.
Early on, it's a repeat of their first meeting. Blayne: "How is your arm stronger than my leg?" |
Another amazing climb of shame? Blayne has other ideas. |
Revenge is a dish best served buff. |
This second match features Cason against a physical equal. Justice isn't only big, he's also reportedly a black belt. Cason is physically fantastic, but he's got that cocky attitude that comes from being young and perfect. In terms of personality, Justice is quieter and more chill, but he's an impressive muscleman, too. And his gear is impeccable. Justice wears the tiny blue posers that Talon made famous in his match against Tak (review here).
There's a story here with Justice as teacher and Cason as student. The black belt shows our young hero some key moves. They alternate elaborate MMA-style submission holds and you pretty much know where it's going. Even early on, Cason goes a little too solid. Justice objects, but keeps training.
Cason is one amazing stud. |
If the young stud needs help, I'll volunteer to wipe him down. |
The experienced black belt knows how to deal with youthful exuberance. |
The training angle which takes up most of the time is likely great for body worshippers, but it went on too long for me. I would've preferred more competitive wrestling. Cason's sweat is one of his best features, almost equal to his muscles and charisma, so all his matches should build it up quickly, which the passive play session does not.
Cason: "Go home, tell all the boys I knocked out a black belt? That'll be good rep for me." |
In the end, both matches take a while to get to the point, but Cason vs. Blayne worked better for me. The custom video against Blayne fills the time with much hotter action that could be a video on its own. It features better chemistry. I like the revenge angle more than the teacher-student. And Blayne's bigger body looks great, even without the dusting of fur.

RINGSIDE: HAPPY LITTLE SQUEEZE (vs. Justice)
RINGSIDE: CVS74 (vs. Blayne)
So that's my take. What's yours?

Blayne looks a lot beefier (in a very good way) than the 165lbs on his profile. He's a regular fireplug of solid muscle. Nice. This is a very good pairing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Blayne's done a good job of adding beef while keeping his proportions. When he said getting to 185 was his goal, I didn't know how it would go, but I like him this size.
DeleteI'd pay good money for a couple hours to rassle that boy.
