Review: Austin Tyler vs. Luca Ferrari (Muscleboy Wrestling)

Well, as I expected (feared?), my 2018 Cavey winner for Favorite Wrestler is winding down his career in gay-oriented wrestling videos. Austin Tyler's been a rising star for a while, but now he's officially risen too high to keep playing in our space. I first read the news on Joe's blog, but UCW has officially released their last match with him. I have purchased it, but not watched it, yet. I don't know if Austin Tyler vs. Luca Ferrari is Muscleboy Wrestling's last video with him, but it probably is.

Opposites attract as Austin battles Luca.

It's great for him, but I admit to being selfishly sad. Austin Tyler's a star performer, always adding energy and excitement to his matches. He's got a great body, especially from the waist down. Even his new pro wrestling home recently commented on his thick thighs in a tweet. That's how impressive they are. They didn't comment on his butt or bulge, but I'm sure they were thinking it.

Opposite him is Alex Costa's valet (in this match), Luca Ferrari, who really is Austin's opposite. From what I can tell, Luca is a true wrestling rookie. He's gorgeous in a completely different way. The newbie is more mature, more trim, dark and handsome with hairy pecs. He's got a sexy foreign accent as compared to the down-to-earth American. I like contrasts and this has them.

So this is how Austin built those thighs.

Austin's impressive from many angles.

What a man.

So we've got a lot going on here. Two good looking opposites facing off, which creates tension. One likely at the end of his time at MBW and the other just starting his. There's tension right away, but nothing too major. Just standard macho posturing, but the language barrier keeps trash talking to a minimum. Austin has earned the right to be confident and he is. Luca's unimpressed.

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Austin is more dominant in this one. It's not a squash, but the indie pro leads the action. There's a reversal within the last three minutes and Luca shows some promise. Still, he's up against one experienced dude, so naturally, he's going to be on the receiving end more often.

Luca's a hot new addition to the MBW roster.

A classic hold anyone can do, even a rookie.

Luca's core gets a real man's workout.

Action-wise, it's a lot of mat work. There are pro-style submission holds, of course. It's all very MBW mat room with a lot of body-stretching and body-displaying holds. There's body punching against the wall, scissors, headlocks, and ab work. The rack and crab moves are always a favorite of mine. It's sexy to watch Luca suffer. I don't know if he'll always be a jobber, but he seems like a good one.

Luca's trim torso is no match for those legs.

Austin gets his turn on the bottom.

How're you enjoying MBW, rookie?

In the end, it's good to go out of a high note. Austin is a reliable favorite and this is another good match from him. Luca is beautiful in blue. MBW has done a good job with a lot of newbies, including Luca's boss Alex, so I expect his persona and skills to only get better. He's not a must-buy, but he's definitely a must-consider.

What are other bloggers saying?

So that's my take. What's yours?

Alex
