Review: Steel vs. Cason with Scrappy (Thunders Arena)

I'm not even go to try to not spoil Steel vs. Cason with Scrappy from Thunders Arena. By the end of this post, you'll know who wins. This decision is partly because it'll be obvious from any pics I choose, but mainly because I don't think it's actually important. This video is more about the journey than the destination. It's a light-hearted muscle romp that quickly strays from any idea of a serious competitive battle.

It's Muscle-mania with plenty of surprises.

Steel and rookie Cason are two of the muscliest musclemen around. They're not just big and strong. They're sculpted like ancient Greek statues and are probably as hard as granite, too. Cason looks perfect in tight pink trunks. Steel is smoking in a low-cut singlet. Add in Scrappy in a supporting role and it really can't get hotter than this right now.

As you likely know by now, Cason is the current unbeatable beast, systematically taking down every major stud on the roster. Steel's been alternating between winning and losing for awhile now. And Scrappy is the most versatile wrestler in the business.

Cason's active sweat glands make his muscles glow.

Steel's legs are scissor machines.

Cason loves beating up the boys at Thunders.

This video is advertised as Steel vs. Cason with Scrappy, which is right. It starts out with Steel dominating Scrappy. While hot, it went on long enough that I started to wonder where Cason was. Fortunately, things become clear when Cason shows up at 3:30, chiding Steel for picking on someone smaller. He issues a challenge and things shift to the advertised match up.

The appeal of this video is the guys. The action is more a collection of holds with a lot of flexing. It's short. It's not the smoothest I've seen, but these two keep me engaged. You see a lot of hot holds, displaying these perfect bodies beautifully. Unfortunately, many of the holds are interrupted. If you like two-on-one, you'll like this, but now that I've seen this, I think I would've preferred to see a mano-a-mano battle where it's power against power.

Steel shows off his strength.

The sweaty stud can bend Steel with his bare hands.

Steel makes a good dude in distress.

Things get a little wacky, thanks to a few guest appearances. Yes, Scrappy keeps returning to take advantage of Cason's hard work. He attacks Steel every chance he gets, pounding on his helpless rival. But there's more.

By the end, there are a couple of other guys showing up on Steel's side. They don't seem to like seeing some newbie dominating their buddy. They don't play a huge role, but it reinforces the "Thunders Arena as wrestling frat house" vibe. The ending is goofy, but also hot as Cason affirms his place as the new resident alpha male.

Scrappy's interference interrupts a lot of the flow.

Cason won't be deterred from manhandling
Steel like he's manhandled everyone.

Cason is the new head of the house.

In the end, this is a good display of muscle that I wish was great. I don't think it lived up to its potential, but that's probably an unfair standard. I don't regret buying or watching it. It's light and fun, so when you're in the mood for that, this could be a good solution.

So, that's my take. What's yours?

Alex
