Q + A: JJ Allen (Muscleboy Wrestling)

After my review of JJ Allen vs. Taylor Reign (review here) from Muscleboy Wrestling, I received a comment from JJ Allen that he enjoyed it. We exchanged some emails and he kindly agreed to answer some questions for my blog. I was curious about two areas – JJ’s private wrestling, some of which he has documented on a blog, and his public wrestling at Muscleboy Wrestling. Let's learn more about both ...

How did Justin feel after being
caught between JJ's killer thighs?

The Q + A.

Alex Miller: JJ, thanks for agreeing to answer a few questions. Congratulations on a fantastic debut into the exciting world of wrestling videos. You've quickly become one of my favorites at Muscleboy Wrestling, so I'm excited to get to ask you a few questions.

JJ Allen: Thanks, it's really nice to get interviewed! I actually interview people a lot, so it's really rare for me to get interviewed about something.

Alex: I'm going to assume most readers don't know much about you. For example, that you were a wrestler before MBW.

JJ: No, I try to keep mostly a mysterious profile, partially because I keep most of this wrestling career on the down-low. I think people should respect a wrestler's or actor's privacy. If anyone does want to talk to me though, I'm not too hard to find.

I'm sure a lot of guys will be
happy to hear JJ's not hard to find.

Alex: How long have you been wrestling? How'd you get into it?

JJ: So, I actually was first just into gut punching, I used to watch videos of that. This is when I was a young teen and going into late teens. Then I started to see a lot of clips of wrestling, and I saw that it combines my favorite things -- gut punching, big muscle, hot gear. I wasn't very much into traditional porn. So I joined a group that was about gut punching, then I slowly migrated to sites like Real Jock and found the big social sites for meeting wrestlers. I made a profile, and I slowly started to gain popularity. I was about 19-20, so this is like 8 years ago.

A young JJ pins a lucky opponent.

Alex: What do you love about wrestling? Anything you don't like?

JJ: Wrestling is mainly a fetish for me and it's about fun, I appreciate the work out, but I'm not as much into its sports aspects -- though it actually is a very good cardio work out for me, I'd prefer it much over running! It's a battle between our submissive and dominant natures. I think it's all about erotically dominating another guy and making him want to submit to you. I don't like guys who just want to go all-out rough and violent, like “ARGHH now I'm going to slap you in the face,” then smash your head onto the mat, then toss you hard! I think a more subtle, confident approach is much hotter. There's plenty of room for aggression, but I think there's a right and wrong way of doing it.

JJ experiences the right kind of aggression.

Alex: I get that and agree. You blogged for a short while about some of your private matches (and attempts to get matches). What made you want to share your experiences? Why didn't it continue?

JJ: So I'm a writer at heart, it seemed natural to blog about matches. I wanted to share the hot action I've had with people. I think I naturally like sharing, showing off, hearing what people think, it drives me. My blog was somewhat popular (CLICK HERE) but sometimes I just had long droughts from wrestling, and some guys don't want to take pictures. I had some issues with it when I put up a donation function onto it. I also recently switched over to Tumblr (CLICK HERE) and made a "blog" there, though it's mostly just pictures. I saw that many people on Tumblr were sharing my MBW match pictures, which I found very exciting, and wanted to track or reblog them. But I'm not sure that many of my Tumblr followers realize that I am actually JJ Allen? Maybe the main blog can continue still, however ...

Alex: I was fascinated that your calendar wasn't jam-packed. What's your biggest challenge with finding matches?

JJ: My biggest challenge is finding an opponent that I like. I definitely used to be very picky, and only wanted really muscled guys, but not always. I think I loosened up a bit, but my standards are probably higher than those of others. I've found many guys that I like a lot, but they are usually traveling. I would most often meet with traveling guys.

I'm sure a lot of guys would travel for some of this.

Alex: Are you still looking for matches? If so, where can guys find you?

JJ: Oh yeah, all the time. The funny thing too about traveling guys, is that there's a guy from California, and we've always wanted to meet, we talked about it a lot, really into each other. 4 months ago or so he moved into my city and we haven't met yet. It's funny how that goes, when guys are local, you don't feel an urge to meet them or make plans quickly. We've been talking loosely, but never really made concrete plans to meet. I can be reached via Tumblr, my blog, or one of the major wrestling social sites.

Alex: What characteristics make your perfect opponent?

JJ: My perfect opponent would be a little older than me, attractive, muscled. Maybe more on the shorter, beefy side, Latino or black, though any race is fine. Definitely with thick, big pecs, huge biceps, thighs, ass, the whole deal. Confident and heel-oriented. Also would be hot to face a real collegiate jock, muscled but young type. Somebody like Alexi Adamov or Gabriel Cross, or Scrappy and Marco from Thunders Arena. But also into big guys like Braden Charron, Aryx Quinn. Many Can-Am guys are really hot too.

Of JJ's MBW opponents, maybe Dante
was closest to perfect?

Alex: Biggest turnoffs when guys have approached you?

JJ: I'm so "available" to chat and message, I get lots of weirdos hitting me up. Usually, the worst people are those who are really persistent despite a clear lack of interest. Generally, don't want to wrestle a jobber, but I have sometimes, and definitely don't want someone who just wants me to put them in one hold (leg scissors, lift & carry, etc.). Though I can see why lots of wrestlers want to get their life squeezed out with my big legs. Guys just need to be very upfront about what they like and what kind of match they want, especially if it's a jobber/heel situation. A couple of times, when they didn't share such things, either of us became a little disappointed. It's mostly about communication and chemistry.

This must be what JJ looks like
when there's chemistry.

Alex: I agree 100% with that. If you can, describe your ideal match. Think about style, setting, gear, action, mood, tone. Anything that would help us visualize it.

JJ: Hmm my ideal match is mostly about the opponent, as described above. I often do hotel matches, so a big enough bed is just fine for me. I usually bring a good selection of gear, and in my matches, we typically break it up by rounds and switch gear, often singlet, to a speedo, to a jock or something skimpy. Really don't have high requirements here, it doesn't have to be a ring or a mat room. As long as I have a guy I like and some room, it's good.

For JJ, it's the guy, not the gear or setting.

Alex: What are your favorite holds to put guys in? To be put in? Why?

JJ: I think trapping holds are the best, especially those that the opponent tries to flex out of, but maybe can't. And even better if that opens me to be played with. A hot bearhug is great to start with, to show off strength, get the bodies really close. Full nelsons are great too, it's a hot visual to get stretched out, trying to flex out, but the guy's big biceps keep me trapped, as he trash talks me, maybe grinds on my thick ass with his bulge as he likes. Then whatever submission holds that can trap me but also leave the opponent free to feel up my ass, the underside of my bulge, my bulge itself, my legs... while he trash talks too. That's the best... until I can't take it anymore and he slowly takes it to total submission. Leg scissors are always hot, unsurprising, that's my go-to move, crushing a head or a waist with my thighs. I also have been making a point to pin guys down more, showboat, flex off, and tell them that I'm going to pin their face down with my bulge or thick ass.

JJ looks good on top of BGEast wrestler Ben Monaco.

Alex: Wow, that’s all really, really hot. How did you hook up with Muscleboy Wrestling?

JJ: I got approached by them, through a wrestling social site.

Alex: Why was the opportunity to wrestle publicly appealing?

JJ: It's tempted me for a long time. When I was younger though, it would have been a lot harder to get flown somewhere, etc. For example, I'd have to come up with some good reason to my parents for why I'm getting flown somewhere for free for a couple of days, who I'm staying with, etc. But those things aside, I've definitely wanted to have videos of me wrestling, it just sounds so hot. To have fans talking about it, enjoying it, sharing screenshots, that's hot.

I'm sure JJ had fans talking about this.

Alex: Who was your first opponent at MBW? How was it that first time?

JJ: That match against Justin was first. And to those who might think wrestling on video is kinda fake, oh boy you are wrong. He gave me a harsh beatdown. There was a stomp in particular that I remember that really took out my breath. He slammed me hardcore and bent my legs hard. I got him some too, with my leg scissors, and he told me his neck hurt a lot after. It depends on the opponent, we sometimes brawl more, sometimes it's slower and more sensual. I was somewhat stressed, I think overall my wrestling experience helped me, but I think there's a lot to learn too. But I think I came out very naturally overall.

Oh yeah, it came out very, very nicely.

Alex: You did. I loved that match. What was the biggest surprise about wrestling for a video company? Any insider info you can give those of us who just watch at home?

JJ: I think the biggest surprise is, this isn't as scripted as you think. I mean yes, a lot of it is arranged beforehand, obviously, but one thing I can probably safely say about MBW, is that the owners are very eager to work with the wrestlers and eager to hear input from them. I had a lot of opportunities to say what could happen in the match. It was far from, for example, like being handed a script and told "do this."

So what I mentioned about the openness for input is the most surprising thing. Maybe other companies do it differently, but making the video can be surprisingly flexible as long as you make a hot scene and work well with the other wrestler.

I simply had to ask about this ...

Alex: I love learning that’s it’s flexible and that the wrestlers have some creative control. Now, I have annual awards called Caveys. You won one for your match with Justin Powers. I picked it because you seemed really into it, the great inter-play and the raw sexual tension. Yes, I wrote all that (REVIEW HERE). But let me ask, did you really not want to kiss Justin Powers? You made such a face. Are you a good actor or does he smoke or what?

JJ: Hahah, it's kinda funny that you say that... no, Justin is definitely a hot guy, I was into it. I think this says then that I accomplished my goal, in my head at least, I was playing a jobber who's trying not to show that he's just really into Justin and wants to get dominated and humiliated by him, like I'm trying to save my "pride." Or maybe one could interpret that as me being a straight but very curious wrestler who's getting his barriers broken down? Circling back to what I said about the domination aspect of wrestling, I think this is what's really hot, the other guy almost "forcing" himself on the other and subduing him, not just on the sports level, but also on a deeper one.

I wanted to mention your review of my match against Taylor (REVIEW HERE), which I think captured its essence so well... it's really hot to me how you described me as a "soft-belly jobber" who just "begs to be punched," that I'm given a beating I so "clearly desire," that he's taking advantage of my "innate desire to be controlled, humiliated, put through the wrestling ringer." Reading this was a real turn-on, the most spot-on review I've read.

Taylor enjoys a taste of jobber.

Alex Miller: Aw, thank you. I think you really tell a great story in your matches. Have you thought about wrestling for any other company? Has anyone reached out?

JJ: Yeah... I've been in contact with BGEast folks, and honestly, and that would be cool; I've always been a big fan of them. I think they have the right combination of wrestling, fun, and erotic for me. I sometimes fantasized about Can-Am, just because the guys in there are so hot, but I think my body would have to be way better for that.

BGEast might be a great second home for JJ, but
I think there are a few more MBW studs for him to face.

Alex: What's next for JJ Allen?

JJ: What's next... couple of things. I still wrestle privately from time to time, I haven't shot any more videos though or signed up to do more. Still thinking about if I should do more or not. I'm always working on my body, and maybe I'll get back to my blog, post more action pics. That's always fun. On the other hand, one project I'm sort of dabbling in is writing a wrestling novel, sort of like that smutty e-reader kind. It would be nice to make some profit, maybe I could pull it off?

Alex: I’m sure you could. Just look at your response to the favorite holds question. That’s a smutty wrestling novel right there! Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. I really enjoyed your answers.

In the end, JJ was an excellent interviewee.

Well, guys, those were my questions and JJ's answers. I hope you found it interesting!

Alex

  1. It's always so cool learning that some of these guys on MBW, BG East, etc., are also on some of the wrestling personals sites, knowing they just love the sport and are willing to wrestle an ordinary guy. And JJ's description of his perfect match? Yes indeed. I like him. ;-)

    1. I feel the same way. It's really cool when guys are actually into wrestling. I'm really glad he was willing to answer a few questions.
