Story Preview: September 2018 (Warning: Spoilers)
We might be moving into autumn, but things stay hot with next month's stories. By now, you know the drill. Matchups are spoiled ONLY if you want them to be.

Guys,
All familiar guys this month, but I figured I'd still do a casting post.

Review: Ace Owens vs. Max Faber (Wrestler4Hire)
I didn't jump on Ace Owens vs. Max Faber when I first saw it was available for streaming on Wrestler4Hire. Somehow, it didn't jump out at me, but I usually at least start everything that available. As it fell down the list, I finally decided to check it out and I'm glad I did. This video is simple and focused, so I've kept all the captions equally simple.

Review: Cason vs. Vinny (Thunders Arena)
TRIGGER WARNING: LANGUAGE
Vinny: "I’ve heard about this fucking guy, but I don’t know who he really is, but I don’t give a shit. He’s a big cocksucker. So, you know. It’s okay. I’m gonna beat the shit outta him. You’re all gonna witness that, so stay tuned. I’m gonna whip this little bitch. Pull his fucking ear out. Make him eat it. Swallow it. Like a little fucking ball sac. That’s right."Ever watch someone say something and feel embarrassed just hearing it? Vinny's always been an adventure in the trash talking department, but in this match, he tops himself with some doozies. The trigger warning is specifically due to him using the word 'homo' at the very end, but in general, I found that he goes from rude and crude meathead to psycho with his obsession with dicks and talk of ripping off body parts.
Cason: "Wow. That was so long."
However, the action between these two big brutes is really good. They wrestle to the point of exhaustion in this 26-minute and this is the first time Cason has been convincingly overpowered and outmatched.

Review: Derek Bolt vs. Quin Quire (Muscleboy Wrestling)
Full disclosure: This video was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.
I'm happy MBW is not letting their name limit the diversity of their roster. If they were being strict, we might've missed out on a stunningly beautiful rookie that is 100% muscle but 0% boy. The expression "WOOF" exists in my vocabulary for MEN like Derek Bolt. However, as regular readers know, looking good isn't the same as being good.
How did the new muscle hunk do on the mats where it counts? Let's talk about Derek Bolt vs. Quin Quire ...

Review: Cason vs. Cap (Thunders Arena)
It doesn't seem like that long since Cap debuted at Thunders Arena as the hot new thing, but time flies. I'm just getting to him now as the Vegas matches consumed my Thunders viewing. I took a brief break, but now it's time to check out the new resident cutie. So far, I've seen him wrestle Blayne, Cason and Scrappy. I decided to start with Cap vs. Cason, since Cason is the one who brought Cap to Thunders and I figured their friendship would make for a unique dynamic.

Review: Aspen vs. Nick Flex (Muscleboy Wrestling)
Full disclosure: This video was provided to me by Muscleboy Wrestling.
I was traveling when Muscleboy Wrestling released their ninth catalogue last week. I didn't have time to buy anything, but luckily they hooked me up with a few of the new videos. I was going to start with Derek Bolt vs. Quin Quire, but Aspen vs. Nick Flex actually intrigued me a little more. Unlike the other video, I wasn't sure how this would play out. So with more suspense and my desire not to be spoiled, I chose familiar faves over the smoking hot rookies.

CLAW 5: Hawk vs. Koke
Motel. I Don't Remember the Name. Arlington VA.
Ow. Fuck, I'm tired. What a night. Where am I? Only sound is breathing. Is it mine? No. Well, yes. But not just mine. Three other guys are breathing, too. Oh yeah. Motel. Double bed. Someone beside me. Hm. Ow. My ass. Damn, he's a rough fucker. Not that I didn't like it. And I fucked him rough, too. I hope his hole hurts just as much as mine does.

Review: #607 Austin Tyler vs. Ref Trevor (UCW)
Ref Trevor: Everyone and anyone is going to lose to me. I will always be undefeated. Starting at the expense of this asshole.
Here's the follow-up to my last review of the latest UCW tag team match. I'm so glad this is being resolved so quickly. I assume that there's still Axel vs. Ref Trevor to come, but Austin Tyler vs. Ref Trevor gives the hot indie hunk and fans some measure of closure as the diabolical ref from the tag match is made to answer for his dirty dealing. Or is he? The unpredictability and competitiveness of this match is just one element that makes it amazing.

Review: #603 Gorilla/Golden Boy vs. Chase/Miles (UCW)
Don't be confused by the title of this post. In their previous tag team match, the heel team renamed Austin and Axel as Gorilla and Golden Boy, respectively. I love it. No one uses those names here. The closest reference is when Miles tells Gorilla, "Get your stinkin' hands off me", which is reminiscent of "Take your stinkin' paws off me, you damn dirty ape!" Yeah, I don't think the reference was intentional.
Anyway, I'm going to use these names in this review because I can. And probably in any related review for them as a tag team. The names play off Gorilla’s big (for UCW) muscles and Golden Boy’s special place in the promotion, but I also think they're sexier and more fun. But what about Gorilla/Golden Boy vs. Chase/Miles? Is it sexy and fun?

It's a classic face vs. heel tag match. |

Review: JJ Allen vs. Dante (Muscleboy Wrestling)
Muscleboy Wrestling is teasing the imminent release of their ninth catalogue on Twitter, but I'm going to catch up on another past match. While the Alex Costa review was my most popular non-story post in July, my interview with JJ Allen was a solid #2 (interview here). Now that we know more about the young stud, we can appreciate JJ Allen vs. Dante even more.
Catalogue 9 looks great with faves Alex and Austin plus gorgeous rookie Derek Bolt (right two pics) |
But while we wait, let's talk JJ and Dante! |

Review: Alex Costa vs. Armond Rizzo (Muscleboy Wrestling)
You guys seemed to get a lot out of my previous Alex Costa reviews, so I figure I'd do another. So far at Muscleboy Wrestling, Alex has been the victim in my previous two reviews. And what a victim! Nick Flex and Bruno the Beast savored their thorough destruction of this exquisitely built muscleman (reviews: Alex vs. Nick and Alex vs. Bruno).
Alex Costa vs. Armond Rizzo offers a different, but no less amazing, perspective on Alex. So let's see how Alex handles being the dominant one for a change.

The Bard's Tales: Now @ Neverland
Guys,
This is likely not news to 99% of you, but I thought I'd mention that blogger Bard has decided to post his classic Producer's Ring stories on his Neverland/Sidelineland blog. Since The Cave is first and foremost a story blog, I think a lot of you should be excited.
Producer's Ring is celebrity wrestling with a twist - the world they're based in is ... well, let me let Bard describe it.
I know there's an audience here for that because I have been asked about writing celebrity wrestling. It's not really something that I feel that I can do easily. I'm too disconnected from gossip culture, not knowing much about actors outside of their characters. My Craig and Bale would be Bond vs. Batman, since that's all I know about them.
Well, here is celebrity wrestling done right. Whether you're reading them for the first time or re-reading them for the hundredth, these are compelling and sexy stories that are entirely different than anything else out there.
Alex
PS. And please remember the power of comments, guys. People complain when blogs end, go dormant and writers disappear, but what have you done to keep the stories, posts, reviews and images coming? I'm fortunate to have a core group of guys who always take a second to make me feel like this is all worth it. If not for them, I would've stopped in year one.
Let that sink in then please provide the same encouragement when you like something. Even a "Thanks" or "Awesome story/post" makes a difference.

Readers may think that they know this world. Many of the names may seem familiar. You may think you’ve been to the places mentioned. But you haven’t. Because this world exists a half-blink to the left of the world you live in. In this world, mass media have outgrown the confines of national boundaries or legal regulations. Broadcast television has spun off multimillion dollar closed-circuit, membership-only channels that cater to the tastes of niche markets worldwide. The internet mobilized so quickly in the 1980’s that it quickly outpaced bricks-and-mortar political and economic institutions to reshape the world into a place where the virtual and the real blend and blur, where democracy elects regional leaders through virtual social networks, and where those leaders are replaced the moment their poll numbers fall below 50%. The political economy is one instantaneously responsive unit, with the Titans of the entertainment industry commanding power never seen before in history, based on their ability to give the people what they want, what they lust for, what they demand. He's posted his first story: Daniel Craig vs. Christian Bale.

Review: Butch.J vs. Stefan (Wrestlingmale)
After a successful first purchase from Wrestlingmale (reviewed here), I went back for more as soon as I saw this matchup. It features the impressive (albeit awkwardly named from a typing standpoint) Butch.J from that first match against a very familiar and very sexy stud. Stefan is his third moniker, but a stud by any other name still looks hot as heck. So, how did my second WM video go?
Beefy brutes Butch and Stefan battle it out. |
