Review: Guido Genatto vs. The Mountain (Wrestler4Hire)

In one of Cameron's guest blog posts (here), he said that Guido Genatto doesn't lose unless he wants to. Wrestler4Hire really tests that theory, because he's facing a true mountain of a pro wrestler. The hairy hunk keeps fighting and doesn't fight like a man who wants to lose, but we all know that in pro wrestling, big men like The Mountain are unstoppable. As Wrestling Arsenal always says, fat > muscle.

Whether Guido wants to lose or not, he's in BIG trouble.

Both guys are mouthy, arrogant heels who are used to dominating their opponents. Of course, Guido is a star in the gay wrestling scene as well as indie pro wrestling. The beefy hairy bastard is looking hot as usual, wearing his trademark red-webbed trunks. The big difference is that this time he's the fly caught in the web, as opposed to the other way around.

The Mountain is more than a lot of bulk.

Guido isn't going down easy.

Usually Guido is the beefy beast. Not today.

The Mountain's main role here is to dominate the badass hunk and give us the thrill of seeing the mighty Dirty Daddy writhe helplessly on the canvas. It's a squash, but not a lie-down 100% squash. I love the way that Guido keeps fighting against all odds. He did it when he faced the cocky punk pair of Chet Chastain and Alvin James (reviewed here) and he does it here.

I just talked about how one of the reasons I liked seeing BBW destroy Josh Goodman was because Josh is such a dominating heel other times (reviewed here). That's the same dynamic here. This is certainly made hotter by the fact that it's THE Dirty Daddy himself, Guido Genatto, getting crushed.

This isn't your usual untrained lightweight opponent,
Dirty Daddy. The Mountain came to play.

Can Guido upend The Mountain?

Where do you think you're going, bitch?
The Mountain isn't done with you.

Action-wise, it's a simple match. The Mountain uses his massive size to crush, maul and manhandle the hairy hunk. In many ways, he does to Guido what Guido to so many other guys. The bigger man has no fear, no respect and no mercy. He splashes his weight on top of Dirty Daddy repeatedly and from every angle. This softens him up for submission holds like bearhugs and a camel clutch.

Guido dishes out a mouthful of insults
and gets a mouthful of Mountain in return.

Even a fighter like Guido has his limits.

Oh the humanity!
No man can withstand this kind of abuse!

In the end, this is what I'd call a specialty taste, because you're either into this kind of classic pro dynamic or you're not. If you are, this is a winner. This is the most suffering I've seen Guido do and his moments of begging and helplessness are truly awesome precisely because they're so rare. And the Mountain is a believable and brutal dominator, so no suspension of disbelief needed.

So that's my take. What's yours?

Alex

  1. Great review! These in-ring matches with a “ref” on Cameron’s site are amazing! They give you all the tropes of classic “old-school” pro “rasslin” and are (generally) well-filmed and presented… and without having to listen to ignorant “fans”. Pitting the Mountain against Guido is genius. I hope Guido got a few hope spots.

There’s another ring match of “Guido” vs muscled fireplug “Teddy Trouble” that is just as hot as any “porn boy match” on Cameron’s (or any other site) … (… and Teddy may use the last name Hart in “real life”.)

    1. Thanks for the suggestion, Ray. I totally agree that these pro matches can be the hottest matches. My favorite matches seldom go further and if they do, that’s never really why I like them.

  3. thanks for the review! it reminds me of old school wrestling big vs small or size vs ability. guido starts off with some smack talk. "are we gonna do this?". the baby face mountain was not afraid. either he had never heard of guido or was not impressed. great match! simple yes but the smack talk and the baby faced mountain handing out some pain was awesome! guido got in some good moves as well. rematch anyone?

    1. You're welcome! A rematch sounds great, although I think it'd go pretty much the same way. :)
